I’m going to do long jump.
小学英语课堂教学必须遵循以活动为中心的理念,发挥语言情境的优势,设计学生乐于参与的活动,使学生在轻松、愉快的活动中去感受语言、理解语言、运用语言、并获得愉悦的情感体验,培养他们的成就感、自信心和积极主动的学习意识。三年级的学生已经接触英语有一段时间,对语言有强烈的好奇心和求知欲,而且他们对体育活动特别感兴趣,因此在课堂教学中,我较多的融入一些体育项目的图片视频等直观的东西,创建氛围,激发兴趣,创设贴近学生生活实际的活动,将更有益于提高教学效率。
一、教学设计理念:
新课程标准确提出了英语教学要以学生发展为本的思想,全方位、多角度地设计教学过程,调动学生参与教学的积极性,从而培养其运用语言的能力。
二、 教学内容:
外研社出版的小学新标准英语(一年级起始)Book5 Module 9 Unit 1 I’m going to do long jump.
三、教学目标:
1.情感目标:营造良好的英语学习氛围,激发学生学习英语的兴趣;培养小组合作精神和竞争意识,鼓励参与,激发学习积极性。
2.知识目标:学会单词do long jump, do high jump, run a race以及会说句子I’m going to …….
3.能力目标:培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生在与教师交流或与同学交流的过程中体会合作学习的乐趣。
四.教学重难点:
1.几个主要的单词的发音do long jump, do high jump, run a race
2.会说句子I’m going to ……
五、教学程序:
1.Warm up.
① Greeting: How are you ......
Let’s chant: I am happy, ha, ha, ha.
I am surprised, wow, wow, wow.
I am busy, choo, choo, choo.
I am excited, hooray, hooray, hooray!
(设计意图:教师由简单的课前问候自然过渡到有关心情的各类单词,配以形象的声音和动作,活跃课堂气氛,拉近师生距离。)
② Lead in
教师询问奥运会以及中国队某项目夺冠这两件事情,引导学生说出Sports day,winner 这个生词,并且展示相关图片,让同学们共同分享这份喜悦。[通过热身活动,引起学生注意,活跃课堂氛围,拉近师生间的距离,帮助学生自然进入英语学习状态。]
Ⅱ.Presentation
①.T: Today, I’ll show some exciting pictures, look.展示do long jump, do high jump, run a race的图片(教师展示多幅关于运动的图片,并且加以动作搭配,学生们立刻活跃了起来,学习积极性也调动起来。
②.巩固训练:通过教师领读,小老师领读,排火车读,老师写学生读等方式练习巩固生词。
③.游戏教学。请几位同学来到教室前方,他们示范动作,学生猜;之后在进行互换。(结合实际,让学生对新单词加深印象,在短时间内提高教学效率,此活动非常受学生的欢迎,他们在游戏中不知不觉地巩固了刚刚新授的单词,而且在此游戏中,还锻炼了他们的反应能力和应变能力。)
④ Listen and do:
教师引导学习句型I’m going to …...(先采用听、做的形式输入知识,再以问答的形式来输出知识,让全体学生在这个活动中操练句型。)
⑤ Group work:
造句子比赛,分别用I’m going to _____. He’s going to _______. She’s going to ______. 然后进行展示,采取小组比赛的形式,排火车说句子。
Ⅲ Practice
1. T: It’s going to be Sports Day on Friday. Do you know what is ‘Sports Day’
T: On Sports Day, what are you going to do (你打算参加什么项目呢?) You can speak English , and you also can speak Chinese.
S: play basketball
T: XX is going to play basketball.
S: play football
T: XX is going to play football
S: play volleyball
T: XX is going to play volleyball.
S: play ping – pong
T: XX is going to play ping – pong.
S: swim
T: XX is going to swim.
S: run / run fast
T: XX is going to run a race.
T: Look , “run a race”(show the card) . What is “run a race”
S: (参加)赛跑
不断渗透XX is going to 这一句式,并借机引出新的词汇:run a race / do long jump / do high jump 。
Little teachers read , others follow.

2. T: Oh , you are wonderful. But do you know what are Sam , Amy and Daming going to do on Sports Day Let’s see. O.K. Please watch carefully , answer these questions :
1) What is Sam going to do
2) What is Amy going to do
3) What is Daming going to do
Watch one or twice.
教师可以根据前面学生自由发言的情况,针对学生已经在发言中引出的新词组,进行提问。
Ask the Ss to answer the questions.
Answer keys:
1) (Sam is going to do) long jump .
Ask the S who answer this question to act Sam.
Sam : I’m going to do long jump.(Design the sentence)

3. T: Look at the blackboard , find out the same points with the 3 sentences.
Ss: going to ( T underlines ‘going to’)
Ⅳ Production
1. T: (Open your books ), listen to the tape ,point and find ‘going to’.
a. Have the Ss take out the pencil.
b. Look at activity 1 , ask a volunteer to read the request and clear its meaning
c. Circle ‘going to’ in the request
d. Listen , point and find ‘going to’ in the text.
e. Check up
T: How many ‘going to’ do you find
S: There are 4 ‘going to’.
Have the S read the 4 sentences.
2. Read the 4 sentences after the tape. Mime the tunes and internation.
3. T: On Sports Day , Sam ,Amy and Daming are going to do sth. What about you What are you going to do
S1: I’m going to …
S2: I’m going to …
1) Talk about your plan in pairs.
2) Ask the volunteers to say.
T: XX is going to …
Have the Ss to talk about other’s plan in 4-person groups.
A: I’m going to do high jump.
B: XX is going to do high jump.

4. Clap , clap , point:
Review the phrases.
a) Look at the picture and the font style.
b) Only look at the font style.
5. Finish AB activity 1 , have the Ss listen , match and say
1) Have the Ss explain the request .
2) Have the Ss read the phrases
3) Listen and match
4) Have the Ss say the sentences.
6. Imitate writing sentences:
I’m Amy . I’m going to do high jump..
I’m Sam. I’m going to ____________.
Ⅴ Summary
Let the Ss to sum up : 今天,我们学习了用‘I’m going to …/XX is going to …’来谈论将要做的事情。
Ⅵ Homework:
1.Listen to the tape and follow it.
2.Teach parents to read the words.
