单元主题意义 本单元的主题属于“人与社会”范畴。本单元的语言功能order food .本单元旨在让学生学会如何用英语点餐,在此过程中,学生可以了解常见中国食物的英文翻译,总结中国人的饮食习惯、表达对 “点外卖”这种新的生活方式的看法。同时,通过学习不同国家的生日食物,了解不同文化中食物所蕴含的美好祝福,增强学生的跨文化交际能力。
单元教学目标 通过本单元的学习,学生能够: 目标a:听懂点餐的对话并能够用英语点餐,将一些常见的中文菜名翻译成英文;知道在公众场合使用委婉语。 目标b: 区分可数和不可数名词,知道可数名词如何构成复数,在不可数名词使用恰当的表示数量单位的名词。 目标c: 了解一些英文菜名,听懂关于“点外卖”的对话从中获取细节信息,能够说出可用于外卖点餐的句子,表示对于“点外卖”这种新生活方式的看法。 目标d:了解世界不同国家的生日食物,说出中国和英语生日食物的内含意义,谈论中国的生日习俗。 与核心素养的关系: 通过本单元话题的相关内容的学习,强调课程从学生的学习兴趣,生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,发展学生的综合语言运用能力,是语言学习的过程成为学生形成积极的情感态度,主动思维和大胆实践、提高跨文化意识和形成自主学习能力的过程。并能在学习活动中积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务,能在学习过程中积极思考,积极进行拓展运用。
整体教学思路及教学结构图 1.来源& 内容: 本单元是《新目标英语》系列教材之一Go for it !七年级下册的第十单元。 中心话题是订餐或叫外卖。整个单元围绕着订餐者以核心话题展开,通过本单元的学习,要求学生运用would like来表达自己对食物的需求,从而学会订餐或叫外卖,并在订餐过程中学会询问他人的个人信息以及向他人提供自己的个人资料,斌够学会为面条和饺子写宣传广告,在学习培养学生的人际交往能力,并倡导学生在日常生活中健康饮食,合理膳食。 2.纵向知识关联: 功能: 能就食物进行询问并点餐。 话题: 食物 语言知识: 学习重点单词及掌握可数名词及不可数名词的用法。 掌握情态动词would用法及would like用法 学会如何订餐、叫外卖; 运用would like 短语谈论自己所需求的食品。 学会写面条和饺子的宣传广告; 提高学生的交际能力社会实践能力。 3.横向知识关联: 七年级上册Unit 6 Do you like bananas 谈论了三餐和对于食物的喜好,反思不同饮食习惯,探讨健康饮食的问题。八年级上Unit 8 How do you make a banana milk shake 谈论了食材的品种、介绍了简单的食品制作步骤。九年级Unit 10 You are supposed to shake hands 谈论了餐桌礼仪。 教学结构图:

教材(语篇)分析: 【what】 本节课是一节阅读课。 【why】 本课的教学活动以阅读训练为主,通过阅读进一步巩固所学语言,为下节课输出性写作活动做铺垫。【how】 本部分介绍了世界各地的人们庆祝生日时不同的饮食文化,内容紧扣单元话题,开阔了学生的视野,还渗透了文化意识的培养。
学情分析: 自然情况 经过前面三个课时的学习,学生已经基本掌握本课时的各种用法。 (二)已有基础 学生的积极性很高。
(三)存在问题
但是语言基础仍然薄弱,语言的拓展运用能力较差,由于学生所学词汇有限以及平时的阅读训练不是很充分。 (四)解决措施 教师在课堂设计时应发挥其优势,设计有趣的课堂任务引导学生进行自主学习和语言实践,渗透学法,指导阅读,提高阅读能力。
