教材分析 The core topic of this unit is “food”.The function of this unit is to let students master different kinds of food and the basic expressions of ordering food. In this pat , the grammar of Section A is teased, including the usage of would like, the difference between some and any and the usage of countable nouns and uncountable nouns. The conversation in 3a asks Ss choose the proper questions and answers based on the content and connect all the sentences to form a full conversation. In the 3b, Ss are asked to make sentences with the words given to train them the expressing ability to use the grammar initially. In the part of 3c, Ss are asked to do a group wok about discussing their own eating habits that provide a real situation for Ss to practice the words and sentences learned in this unit.
学情分析 The target of the unit is the students of Grade 7 of Xi’an Handu No.1 School.They possess a certain language ability and foundation.Also they have initial ability to study independently, cooperate with others, and practice. The students have already learned some words of food and the countable noun and uncountable noun in unit 6 Do you like bananas from the first volume of Grade 7, and also learned about how to talk about price in Unit 7 How much are these socks from the first volume of Grade 7. Above all, student have already had the initial perception of the content of this unit. The majority of students have some difficulties in learning English who need more guidance and practice.The reading strategies and skills should be promoted and there is still problem in time controlling and abstracting the key information.In the writing part, many of the students’ writing is just like Chinese English.
