教材分析 The core topic of this unit is “food”.The function of this unit is to let students master different kinds of food and the basic expressions of ordering food. In this pat , Ss will know more words of food and master the grammar and function through providing the real situation about ordering food on the telephone.In the 1a and 1b, Ss will master more words of food and practice using the target language in the conversations. In the part of 1c and 1d, Ss will listen to a conversation about ordering food on the telephone and complete the task of filling in the chart. In this way, Ss will practice in listening for specific items in conversations and practice speaking with the target language. From this part, Ss also should know the hardship of delivery man and show their respect to the delivery man when they get helped.
学情分析 The target of the unit is the students of Grade 7 of Xi’an Handu No.1 School.They possess a certain language ability and foundation.Also they have initial ability to study independently, cooperate with others, and practice. The students have already learned some words of food and the countable noun and uncountable noun in unit 6 Do you like bananas from the first volume of Grade 7, and also learned about how to talk about price in Unit 7 How much are these socks from the first volume of Grade 7. Above all, student have already had the initial perception of the content of this unit. The majority of students have some difficulties in learning English who need more guidance and practice.The reading strategies and skills should be promoted and there is still problem in time controlling and abstracting the key information.In the writing part, many of the students’ writing is just like Chinese English.
