教材分析 The core topic of this unit is “food”.The function of this unit is to let students master different kinds of food and the basic expressions of ordering food. In the pat of Section A 2a-2d,the more language input is increased, based on the pat of 1a-1c. Not only the different kinds of food but also the size of food are talk about. In the Part of 2a-2b, based on the words of food learned, the teacher should help Ss to talk about the size of food. In the Part of 2c, students will have a role-playing to ask and answer the questions using the information in 2a and 2b. In the Part of 2d, the teacher should set up an real situation to give Ss the opportunity to use the target language in a controlled manner.
学情分析 The target of the unit is the students of Grade 7 of Xi’an Handu No.1 School.They possess a certain language ability and foundation.Also they have initial ability to study independently, cooperate with others, and practice. The students have already learned some words of food and the countable noun and uncountable noun in unit 6 Do you like bananas from the first volume of Grade 7, and also learned about how to talk about price in Unit 7 How much are these socks from the first volume of Grade 7. Above all, student have already had the initial perception of the content of this unit. The majority of students have some difficulties in learning English who need more guidance and practice.The reading strategies and skills should be promoted and there is still problem in time controlling and abstracting the key information.In the writing part, many of the students’ writing is just like Chinese English.
