March 5th is Lei Feng Day. Every year, many people do volunteer activities (志愿者活动) like Lei Feng. Wang Guansheng is one of them.
35-year-old Wang is from Dalian. In March this year, he was busy every day. He taught some farmers’ children to write and gave poor (贫穷的) people some things they needed. But he never felt tired of helping others.
In 1999, Wang was a village student. One day, some young men went to his school and gave money to poor students. When Wang got 200 yuan, he was so happy. His teacher told him they were volunteers.
