Mid-Autumn Festival
The Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, usually in September or October. It is the time for family reunions. Before the day, people put up red lanterns in their homes, on trees or outside buildings. On the night of the festival, families get together for dinner and then go outside to enjoy the fullest and brightest moon of the year.
