一、教学目标：
1、正确书写单词map Australia why. 认读单词 kangaroo koala language .能用Why… 询问原因，和Because进行回答。
2、能在真实语言情境中运用所学英语来询问原因和回答。
3、了解澳大利亚国旗，地图，国徽，动物等基本文化常识。初步具有跨文化意识，产生爱国热情，以合理的心理状态对待中外差异。
二、教学重点：
正确使用Why 和Because 询问和回答。
三、教学难点：
Australia language的发音。
四、教学准备：
教科书，课件，录音机，袋鼠及考拉卡片，图片。
五、教学过程：

T: Well ,children do you love China Ss: Yes.
T: Oh, I love China too.Because I am a Chinese. Now ,let’s watch a video together ,and tell me what do you like in the video.

T: Why do you like it Ss:…

III. Presentation.

T: There are many animals in our China. There are also many other animals in the world. Let’s see what are they.
(大屏幕展示袋鼠图片，与单词，讲授单词)
T：Do you like it Ss:…T: Why do you like it Ss:…
T: We should say ,because it’s…Why的意思是为什么，是用来询问原因的。Because的意思是因为，通常用来回答Why的问题。（板书）拿其他动物的图片。操练Why 和Because句型。然后出示考拉图片，同样的方法来操练Why 和Because句型。
T：Do you know where do they come from
Ss: 澳大利亚。
T: Yes , Australia. They come from Australia. (大屏幕出示国旗及单词)板书单词，同时标注音标，书空一遍，在老对背上写一遍。
出示国徽，简单讲解国徽意义，复现袋鼠。
T：Children from China are Chinese. Children from America are American.
Children from Australia are . 引出Australian。
T：We add a “n” here”,就变成了澳大利亚的，澳大利亚人。

This is the president of Australia. So he is an Australian. Let’s listen what language does he speak.
Ss: English.
T: Yes ,he speak English. People in Australia speak English. What other countries speak English
So people speak English not only in England in America,but also in many other countries. So it’s very important. Do you like English Why do you like English
T: Look , this is a map of China. 讲解map，牵挂后连，相似结构的词语。再讲a map of 词组结构。然后运用大屏幕展示美国地图及英国地图。练习a map of词组。接下来引出澳大利亚地图。
T: Our text is about Australia, let’s listen and find out “ why “ “ because”.
听一遍，找出句子，然后在大屏幕出示句子。全班齐读 男女生读。
听第二遍，跟读，然后奖励读的好的学生。考拉和袋鼠卡片。
T: What do you like Why do you like it
最后全班齐读。
