Frequently Asked Questions about Our Products
What is a Waterbike
Waterbike is a kind of bicycle to pedal on water. We offer two common models of water bikes: Bikeboat Rec and Bikeboat Up. Both models are available for immediate delivery.
What is the difference between Bikeboat Rec and Bikeboat Up
The position of Bikeboat Rec offers greater comfort to the back. Its seat offers greater comfort by keeping your back fully supported. It makes Bikeboat Rec much more suitable for pedaling over long distances. Besides, due to the user being in a lower position, it is less influenced by winds. But there are people who have a preference for Bikeboat Up because it is similar to a conventional bike. In terms of speed and performance, both are equivalent and use the same propulsion system (推进系统).
What is the maximum speed
You can get up to 2 times the speed of a Stand Up paddle. The maximum speed of new models is about 15km/h depending on your condition. You can keep a pace of 6 km/h to 9 km/h without much effort.
Can I go reverse
Yes, both Bikeboat Rec and Bikeboat Up models can go reverse (倒车). You just need to pedal backwards.
Can I use it on sea water
The components of the bikeboat were designed for the marine environment, so they can be used in saltwater. The mechanical components are made of stainless steel (不锈钢). For models since 2017 we are using a resistant anodizing finish in black: no peel off, tougher than any type of paint. With basic care, your bikeboat will last several years.
Is there a bikeboat model for two people
Yes, we have Bikeboat Tandem, a double waterbike where two people can ride and have fun with maximum performance. The image is shown at the bottom of this page.

Shaping, drying, glazing and firing... in less than 5 minutes, a mini vase only millimeters in size starts to take shape as viewers watch on. As the founder of a miniature ceramics (微型陶瓷) studio, Wang Wenhua never expected that his works would surprise viewers in China, let alone those abroad, and that his short videos would earn over 45 million views and 4.2 million likes on a video application.
Having worked in China’s “Porcelain Capital (瓷都)” Jingdezhen in East China’s Jiangxi Province for 14 years, Wang said he had once seen the world’s biggest ceramic here but he had never seen the smallest, so he decided one day to try something different — making micro porcelain.
Things were not easy in the beginning, and many people doubted him. “They called me crazy and mocked me when I went to factories and asked them to help make miniature tools for me to create micro pottery. Even my wife did not support me,” Wang said.
However, Wang did not give up and after about half a year of experimentation, Wang finally made miniature tools on his own and was able to complete his first miniature porcelain — a vase.
According to Wang, the key to making a miniature ceramic work is concentration and a pair of steady hands. After numerous attempts, Wang found that the smallest works he could get were about 2 millimeters in size. “It would probably miss my original intention if I made micro pottery using a microscope, so I have focused more attention on making the smaller pieces more beautiful and complex,” said Wang.
The smallest vase that Wang has made is a bowl only 2 millimeters tall, 3 millimeters wide and 1 millimeter thick. Wang says he plans to apply for the Guinness World Records for the world’s smallest pottery work.
24. What inspired Wang Wenhua to make micro porcelain
A. The high expectations of the viewers.
B. The popularity of his videos on a video application.
C. His decision to make something different.
D. The responsibility of the founder of the studio.
25. Which words can best describe Wang Wenhua
A. Generous and wise. B. Brilliant and wealthy.
C. Talented and selfish. D. Determined and focused.
26 What plays a significant role in Wang producing a miniature ceramic work
A. Using a microscope in his work. B. Advanced tools made by himself.
C. Carrying out numerous experiments. D. Attention on a thing and steady hands.
27. In which section of a newspaper may this text appear
A. Fashion. B. Art. C. Education. D. Psychology.

Having worked as a village doctor for nearly two decades, Yang Lianying, a 44-year-old deputy to the 14th National People’s Congress, stands out as a voice for her profession. “My biggest hope is that villagers are healthy,” says Yang.
Born in Mengzi, Yunnan, in 1980, Yang was a farmer for many years before she began to receive medical training in 2005 in the hope of making a better living. Speaking about why she chose to become a doctor, she remembers when she was about 8 years old, her mother went into shock due to an allergic reaction. With no village doctor, her mother’s life seemed to hang by a thread. The experience planted a seed in her heart and made her think that if she had a chance to learn medicine in the future, she would work hard, and maybe one day be able to help patients who experienced emergencies like her mother.
In 2008, Yang’s dream came true when she was appointed as a doctor in Henan village, and made responsible for providing basic public health services, but she soon found out that it was not an easy job.
Since Henan village is located in a mountainous area and villagers live far apart, she often has to hike long distances to visit them at home and check on their health regularly. Moreover, village doctors don’t earn much, and have heavy workloads. Yang is responsible for the healthcare of the entire village of nearly 2,000 with one other colleague. Additionally, village doctors don’t earn large pensions for life after retirement. Because of this, few young people are eager to step into the profession.
But Yang keeps going. “Actually, I love this job and regard all the difficulties I encounter as obstacles to conquer. I get on well with the villagers, and they trust and respect me. It’s a great pleasure to hear them call me ‘doctor’,” she says.
She has suggested that the government offer village doctors more support, especially in terms of pensions and medical training.
28. Why did she choose to be a doctor

C. To be in honor of her mother. D. To rescue people in an emergency.

What if we had the power to control time, instead of moving from the past to the present to the future What if we could jump, loop and travel through time in a machine What if we could go wherever and whenever we pleased
This ability would allow us to witness historic wonders, change decisions and see people from the past. We could right wrongs and stop wars from starting.
The mysterious puzzle of time has kept people debating its nature for hundreds of years. Science fiction writers have turned it into imaginative stories. Some scientists have even attempted to explain it using math. This math tries to make the dream of time travel come true.
The scientist Albert Einstein said that time and space are one thing. He called it “spacetime”. Einstein said that there are three dimensions in space: height, width and depth. A scientist named Hermann Minkowski added time as a fourth dimension.
Einstein introduced two ideas that have led to theories about the possibility of time travel. The first is relativity. The idea of relativity is that the force of gravity causes space to bend, which causes time to twist. The second idea focuses on special relativity. The idea is that a traveler moving super-fast through flat spacetime will enter the future. Einstein considered time “relative” because it is measured based on where we are on the earth or in space.
The first science fiction story with this theme is The Clock That Went Backward by Edward P. Mitchell, which was published in 1881. Since then, thousands of books, films and television shows have explored the idea of time travel, in which some tools such as phones, watches, photographs and old books take travelers backward and forward.
Will time travel ever happen Who knows The most important thing is to keep your eyes open and have a sense of wonder.
32. What is the author’s purpose of writing the first paragraph
A. To explain time and space are connected.
B. To show people’s interest in time travel.
C. To draw readers’ attention to time travel.
D. To make people believe time travel is possible.
33. Which of the following statements could Einstein agree with
A. Time travel is possible in the future.
B. People can’t move faster than light.
C. Time travel is against scientific rules.
D. Spacetime is not a real thing in theory.
34. What is the last but one paragraph mainly about
A. The first science fiction story. B. Some tools used in time travel.
C. Edward P. Mitchell, the pioneer. D. Different works about time travel.
35. What is the writer’s attitude toward time travel
A. Cautious. B. Approving. C. Doubtful. D. Hopeful.

Two things changed my life: my mother and a white plastic bike basket. I have thought long and hard about it and it’s true. I would have been a different person if my mom hadn’t turned a silly bicycle accessory (配饰) into a life lesson I carry with me today.
My mother and father were united in their way of raising children, but it mostly fell to my mother to actually carry it out. Managing the family budget must have been a very hard task, but she made it look effortless. If we complained about not having what another kid did, we’d hear something like, “I don’t care what so-and-so got for his birthday, you are not getting a TV in your room, a car for your birthday, a lavish sweet 16 party.” We had to earn our allowance by doing chores around the house. I can still remember how long it took to polish the legs of our coffee table. My brothers can no doubt remember hours spent cleaning the house. Like the two little girls growing up at the White House, we made our own beds. We had to keep track of our belongings, and if something was lost, it was not replaced.
It was summer and, one day, my mother drove me to the bike shop to get a tire fixed — and there it was in the window. White, shiny, plastic and decorated with flowers, the basket winked at me and I knew — I knew — I had to have it.
“It’s beautiful,” my mother said when I pointed it out to her, “What a neat basket.”
I tried to hold off at first, and I played it cool for a short while. But then I guess I couldn’t pretend to ignore it any longer: “Mom, please can I please, please get it I’ll do extra chores for as long as you say. I’ll do anything, but I need that basket. I love that basket.”
I was desperate.
“You know,” she said, gently rubbing my back while we both stared at what I believed was the coolest thing ever. “If you save up you could buy this yourself.”
“By the time I make enough it’ll be gone!”
“Maybe Roger here could hold it for you,” she smiled at Roger, the bike guy.
“Mom Someone else will buy it.”
“There might be another way,” she said.
注意:
1. 续写词数应为150左右;
2. 请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。
My mother bought the beautiful basket but hid it, and I was determined to make enough money.

However, the unthinkable happened — a neighborhood girl appeared with the exact same basket.

A. Cautious. B. Approving. C. Doubtful. D. Hopeful.

The new skill I acquired was skating. The process is challenging but productive.
Initially, on watching the Winter Olympics Games in Beijing, I became enthusiastic about skating. From then on, I was determined to master this fascinating sport. However, at the very beginning, when I stepped on the ice, I stumbled over myself. Hard as I strive, I still fell over again and again. The moment I thought of the athletes on the field, I was inspired by their powerful spirits. Eventually, my persistence and painstaking efforts paid off. I can skate freely all by myself.

67. 阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
“Mom. Someone else will buy it.”
“There might be another way” she said.
注意:
1. 续写词数应为150左右;
2. 请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。

【答案】My mother bought the beautiful basket but hid it, and I was determined to make enough money. Every day after school, I took on more chores than I had ever done before. I mowed lawns, walked dogs for neighbors, and even helped my dad with some of his paperwork. Each task brought me a little closer to my goal, and I kept a meticulous record of every penny I earned. My mom watched my efforts, occasionally giving me advice on saving and managing my earnings. It was a lesson in patience and perseverance.
However, the unthinkable happened — a neighborhood girl appeared with the exact same basket. I was very disappointed. But my mother asked me to follow her to the garage. There, hidden behind some old paint cans, was another shiny, white plastic bike basket decorated with flowers. “I bought it the day we went to the shop,” she revealed. “I wanted to teach you the value of hard work and saving. But I also couldn’t stand to see you disappointed if it had been sold to someone else.” Seeing the basket, now truly earned, filled me with a sense of pride and accomplishment.
