1、for three years长达三年
注意：在英语里，当要表达一段时间的时候，常用介词for，意思是“长达”。
又如：I have learned English for two years.
我已经学英语学了两年了。
2、Amy thinks it's hard to sell her old things.
艾米认为要卖掉她的旧的东西是很困难的。
注意：It's + adj. for sb. to do sth.
对于某人来说，做某事是......的
又如：It's easy for me to get up early and go to bed early.
对于我来说，早睡早起是很容易的。
Jeff has had his bike for more than ten years.
杰夫拥有这辆自行车超过十年了。
more than超过、多余，相当于over。
又如：There are more than five hundred students in our school.
我们学校有500多个学生。
You can also give away things to people in need.
你可以把这些旧东西赠送给需要的人。
give away赠送；people in need需要的人
又如：Don’t throw away the old things , you can give them away to people in need.
不要扔掉旧的东西，你可以把它们赠送给需要的人。

又如：I am not a child anymore.
我不再是个小孩了。
又如：She doesn't eat junk food anymore.
她不再吃垃圾食品了。

My mom's had it for a long time , but it still works.

for a long time 很长一段时间 work工作
例如：I want to call you , but my phone isn’t working.
我想要给你打电话，但是我的电话不能使用了。
We have decided to each that we no longer use.

例如：Have you decided which one to choose
你已经决定选择哪一个了吗？

one of其中之一，后面接名词的复数，形容词词的最高级。如果后面有谓语动词，要用单数。
例如：The singer is one of the most famous sings in China.
这个歌手是中国最著名的歌手之一。

很多人选择离开他们的村庄或者城镇，去城里面寻找工作。
choose to do something选择做某事 search for寻找，相当于look for
He doesn't have time to return to his village often.
他没有时间经常回到他的家乡。
have time to do something有时间做某事
return to+地点，表示“回到某地”
例如：I'm a middle school student . I'm so busy that I don't have a time to relax every day.
我是一个中学生，我是如此的忙，以至于没有时间放松。

当今越来越多的家乡正在改变的更好。
more and more越来越多
例如：More and more people have joined the club.
