第三课时 课型 听说课
教学目标 1.准确识别并学会/str/, /spl/, /spr/, /skr/ 四个辅音连缀。
2.根据表格提示预测听力文本内容及所填空格的词性并捕捉关于Dora日记里关于一枚硬币的故事一些关键信息; 3. 通过流程图口头叙述一枚硬币的故事; 4. 拓展学习用水的基本理念和节约用水的重要性。
教学内容 分析 本听力模块为一段关于“A coin’s story in Dora’s diary”的录音,内容是Dora与一枚硬币的对话,该日记以第一人称的口吻,按照硬币的流通进行叙述。学生需要听取信息,并观察6幅图片,根据录音内容给图片排序。同时需要默读Dora 的日记,预测听力文本内容。Speak up部分要求学生通过水循环流程图,学会正确运用连词来表达水是如何变成雨的。因此,本课结合语音学习和流程图等为学生提供更多的信息和语言支撑,,为学生的口语活动输出提供更丰富的支撑。
学情分析 Basic information 本单元教学对象为七年级下册的10个教学班。从年龄特点来看,该阶段学生好动、好奇、好表现、形象思维能力强,课堂上能够积极参与互动,并偏好互动性的教学方式以及竞争性强的活动设计,同时学习态度受兴趣影响较大,注意力集中缺乏连贯性,表现在课上容易偏离话题和任务要求,对于基础重复训练和记忆任务缺乏兴趣和耐心。 Prior knowledge 从语言知识来看,本课的标题“The journey of a coin”对学生来说有些陌生,但经过前期的英语学习,大部分学生具有获取该话题的听力文本信息及对相应语篇的理解能力,也积累了一些相关的词汇,如drop,pick up等。从思维品质来看,学生对水的用途缺乏批判性的思考,辩证思考能力较差。 Existing problems 大部分学生存在一些共性的问题,如连词的使用不熟悉,以及吞音、无法连续等语音错误。尽管同学们对复述的形式比较熟悉,但是对于流程图的使用还是比较陌生。同时,学生对于水的用途及个人观点的辩证思考和表达能力欠缺。
教学重难点 重点:
1.正确运用流程图描绘一枚硬币的旅程。 2.正确朗读辅音连缀/str/,/spl/,/spr/和/skr/,掌握读音规则。
难点:
含有上述音标的单词的辨读能力。

前置作业 复习水的旅程,并思考水的另一段旅程:水是如何变成雨的。

Step 1.
Talk time 1.Ask students to listen to the tape and read four sounds together. /str/, /spl/, /spr/, /skr/ 2.Learn four sounds by giving some examples. 3.Finish the exercise on P66-A1. 4.Listen to the tape of A2 and follow the tape. Help students to read four sounds correctly and clearly.
Step 2. Speak up 1.Review: The water’s journey 2.Speak up: ask students to talk about “How does water become rain ” by the flow chart and pay attention to the following conjunctions(连词). 3. Pair work: tell “how water becomes rain” to their partner. 4.Show the sample to the students. Innovate students’ knowledge about water. Help students to tell water’s another journey by the flow chart. Improve students’ cooperative work.
Step 3. Listening Pre-listening Prediction(who/where/what/key words): Ask students to describe each picture with a sentence on P62-A. Guess what kind of part of speech should we fill in the blanks. While-listening 1.Listen to the coin’s story, then put the pictures in the correct order. 2.Listen to the tape again and complete Dora’s diary.
