译林牛津英语五下Unit8 birthdays(story time)
教材分析:
《birthdays》是译林英语五下的最后一个单元。本课时主要讲授的是第一板块Story time的内容。主要围绕“过生日”这一话题,通过问询和讨论在生日里所做的事情展开对话。
教学大纲对Story time的要求是通过对话、短文、故事等,帮助学生掌握基本的英语语言知识,发展基本的英语听、说、读、写技能,初步形成用英语与他人交流的能力,进一步促进思维能力的发展,同时提高学生的综合人文素质。
从教学内容来看,本板块通过Miss Li询问Su Hai, Mike的生日,他们分别描述生日当天的情形学习句型:When’s your birthday What do you do on your birthday 及回答It’s on… I usually…并通过此板块学习新词组:have a big dinner, eat some noodles, play with Kitty, have a party, buy a birthday cake, eat the birthday cake, play some games, have a great time, have a lot of fun.一般现在时的表达已经有所接触,本课主要集中于有关生日日期和活动的基本表达。
三、学生情况分析:
五年级学生已经有了一定的语言基础,对生日的话题也比较感兴趣,有话要说。生日活动的表达与日常生活紧密相关,所以是相对比较简单的内容。但是生日日期的准确表达是一个难点。
五年级的学生还处在好奇心旺盛的阶段,求知欲较强,对英语的学习也比较感兴趣,同时他们在参与和表达的活动中更容易习得语言。因此教学活动主要采用任务驱动法和朗读法。
设计理念
明确学习理念,把握学习过程。教师在教学过程中注重引导语的运用,缩减讲授时间,为学生学习提供更多的时间和空间。
整体设计目标,关注学习实效。通过整体阅读,开放式任务设计等活动,学生积极主动参与到学习中来。
创设活动(任务),建构知识技能。通过创设情境,使学生自然地融入到英语学习中。设计不同难度的活动,使不同层次的学生都能得到提高。
