一、课型:Reading and Writing
二、教学目标?
1.知识目标:
·掌握词汇和短语:glasses, jeans, nervous, fair, pretty, be proud of, stranger,can’t wait to do, hobby,mark。
·掌握重点句型:Somebody can’t wait to do something.
I’m quite tall with short fair hair.
I spend a lot of time playing classical music with my friends at school.
I often feel a bit sad at first when I leave my mum and dad for a few days.
I feel nervous when I speak Chinese.
I can’t tell you how excited I am about going to China.
·理解掌握when 引导的时间状语从句。
2.能力目标:能够运用表示感觉、知觉的系动词和when引导的时间状语从句表达自己的感受,能够运用所学知识描述一个人的外貌和性格。
3.情感目标:让学生更多地了解英语国家的朋友,培养学生的世界意识;通过阅读他人的自我描述,更好的理解别人,培养学生关爱他人的情感素质。
三、重难点
1.能准确、熟练地使用本单元所学的词汇和句型进行听、说、读、写的训练。
2.学会描述一个人的外貌、爱好和感受。

2.Look at the pictures and describe the two girls.

设计意图:引导学生运用提示词对不同的人进行外貌描述。为后面的阅读做铺垫。
C.多层阅读
1. Read Sally’s email fast and find her picture.
 
设计意图:承接上面的外貌描述,学生进行初步阅读,根据描述外貌的语句找出Sally的照片。

设计意图:通读全文,整体把握文章大意,理清文章脉络。
