一、课型：Reading and Writing
二、教学目标?
1.知识目标：
·掌握词汇和短语：glasses, jeans, nervous, fair, pretty, be proud of, stranger，can’t wait to do, hobby，mark。
·掌握重点句型：Somebody can’t wait to do something.
I’m quite tall with short fair hair.
I spend a lot of time playing classical music with my friends at school.
I often feel a bit sad at first when I leave my mum and dad for a few days.
I feel nervous when I speak Chinese.
I can’t tell you how excited I am about going to China.
·理解掌握when 引导的时间状语从句。
2．能力目标：能够运用表示感觉、知觉的系动词和when引导的时间状语从句表达自己的感受，能够运用所学知识描述一个人的外貌和性格。
3．情感目标：让学生更多地了解英语国家的朋友，培养学生的世界意识；通过阅读他人的自我描述，更好的理解别人，培养学生关爱他人的情感素质。
三、重难点
1.能准确、熟练地使用本单元所学的词汇和句型进行听、说、读、写的训练。
2.学会描述一个人的外貌、爱好和感受。

2.Look at the pictures and describe the two girls.

设计意图：引导学生运用提示词对不同的人进行外貌描述。为后面的阅读做铺垫。
C.多层阅读
1. Read Sally’s email fast and find her picture.
设计意图：承接上面的外貌描述，学生进行初步阅读，根据描述外貌的语句找出Sally的照片。

设计意图：通读全文，整体把握文章大意，理清文章脉络。
