初二学生已经有一定的英语基础,在听说读写方面能应付较复杂的句子,而且现在完成时已经在Module2和3两课接触并运用,本课学习它与for和since的连用,对学生来说比较容易接受,而且看病就医及健康生活方式都是与他们的生活息息相关的话题,通过创设就医情境、从别人健康生活方式谈论到自身、对别人的生活方式提出建议,学生能从真实的语境中体会到目标语言的实用性,同时体会到“健康生活离不开运动”,容易产生学习兴趣和热情,并积极关心自己及他人的健康。
主要内容
本单元从大明和医生的对话开始,为学生展示了一个真实的就医语境。大明向医生讲述了自己的感受和疾病持续的时间。医生为大明测了体温,询问了他的饮食情况和日常锻炼的频率,判断了病情并给出了康复建议。给学生传递了注意日常饮食锻炼的重要性。
教学目标
语言知识目标:掌握其中和身体状况有关的主要单词和句式;。
语言技能目标:能听懂疾病及症状的描述及健康生活习惯的表述并提取相关信息,能与同学合作完成医患间的角色扮演,谈论疾病及治疗办法,能读懂关于饮食和运动习惯的短文,并针对不健康生活习惯给出恰当建议。
学习策略、情感态度和文化意识: 能检查自身的生活习惯,对于存在问题主动寻求解决方案;能与他人讨论健康习惯上存在的问题,积极提出建议。
