Knowledge aims:
1.Students can consolidate the usage of “ if ”clause through writing .
2.Students can master useful expressions to find out others’ problems or worries and give solutions or advice.
Ability aims:
Students are able to collect information and use modal
verb ,“if ” clause and simple future tense to write a short passage .
2. Students can improve writing and speaking ability .
Emotion aims:
Students will learn to listen to find out friends ' problems and be a helpful person .
Students will understand worries and problems are normal in life,we should face them with smiles.
ⅡKey & difficult points:
Key points:
1.Students can consolidate the usage of “if”clause through writing.
2.Students can master how to use helpful expressions to find out others’ problems and give advice to them .
Difficult points:
1. Students can improve their writing and speaking ability .
2. Students will learn to listen to friends ' problems and be a helpful person .
ⅢTeaching procedures:
Step 1 Warming up and lead - in
Daily greeting .
Show students a happy song to lead to today’s teaching
content.
Show today’s learning objectives.
Step 2 Pre - writing
Play a tape ,let the students try to find what the girl’s
problems are.
Ask and answer about students’ problems.
Analyze these problems and divide them into 4 types.
Work in pairs.
3a,talk with their partner to find out the problems and try to give the possible solutions.And then finish the form.
5.Ask and answer about the content of the form.
Step 3 While - writing
3b.Teach and learn how to write down others’ problem and advice you gave .
Show the outline.
Show the example and the tips.
Analyze the example.Show how to judge an article.
Let the students write down their article to finish 3b.
Show two of the articles the students finished to lead the students how to judge an article.
Step 4 Post - writing
Ask them to exchange their articles to judge them.Ask some of them to share their articles.
Step5: Practice
3c.Challenge the more difficult.Spercify and Extend.
Show some possible structures and linking words to lead the students to write better articles.
Show an example,and lead them to judge the article again.
Step6: Summary
Review what they have learned in this class.
We’ve learned how to write about friends’ problems or worries,and the solutions or advice you give to him or her.When we have problems with study,parents,friends or health and so on,we can have a communication,listen to music or read boos to solve them,of course our teachers,parents and friends would help us,too.
Pay attention to the writing tips.
Step7:homework
1.No homework.
2.Finish 3c.
3.Finish another article about your friend's problems and the solutions you give.
