But now, the way we read news is very different because of 45 . These days, it’s more common to read news on digital (数码的,电子的) devices like smartphones, tablets, and laptops. The change from paper to screens has happened for many reasons.

Another big change is how easy it is to access digital news. You can read news 47 and anytime, like on a bus, in a line, or at home. This ease of access has made digital news very popular.
Digital news sites also have things like videos, links, and pictures that make news more interesting. But, this new way of reading news has its problems. Screen pop-ups and digital 48 can make it hard for us to focus. Also, not everyone has digital devices or good internet, which means some people can’t get digital news.
Despite these problems, more and more people are reading news digitally. This shows a big change in how we get information and 49 with the world. As technology gets better, we’ll probably see even newer ways to share and read news.

D. Answer the questions (根据短文内容回答问题) (12 分)
Canada Geese are large blue and white birds. When autumn comes, they have to move to south where the weather is warmer. The winters are so cold in Canada that the birds will die if they stay there.
Last spring, Bill and a man found sixteen young Canada Geese on his farm. They had lost their way. Bill thought, “These young birds won’t know what to do in the autumn.” He had a small plane and he decided to teach the birds to follow him. All through the summer, he went on short trips in his plane and the young geese new after him.
When the cold weather arrived in the autumn, Bill flew to Virginia in the United States, 600 miles South of his home in Canada. The geese followed him all the way. Bill left the geese in Virginia and he returned home.
This spring, Bill was waiting for the birds to come back. They didn’t arrive, so Bill flew to Virginia to get them. He looked for them for two weeks but he couldn’t find them. When he arrived back home, he found the
geese waiting for him. They had found their way home without him!

【答案】例文:
Teachers are hard-working
Sometimes people around us often say that the teacher has winter and summer vacation. It is too easy. But I don’t think so. Most teachers come early and leave late. Usually, if they have endless homework, they have to work overtime at night or on weekends. In some special cases, teachers have to pay home visits to students. So I think the teachers are also very hard-working.
