教学过程 Step 1: Revision 1. Ask students to share expressions about feelings. (1)Divide the adjectives into two parts, positive and negative. Ask students to share positive words first and then negative ones. (2)Ask students to give examples to show what positive means and what negative means. (Attention: While students are sharing, write the words down on the blackboard to help students to review.) 2. Ask students to answer the question: What makes you happy or sad (Attention: Before students answer the question, lead students to review the four phrases by pictures. Make sure students can read correctly. Thenask students to give their own answers.) Step 2: Writing 1. Ask students to share some unforgettable experiences with their partners. (Attention: Give students some related phrases or topic sentences to recall their memories. Before students share their experiences, give rules: ① Past tense. ② The right sentence structure. ③ Share logically.) 2. Ask students to write a story similar to the one in 2b according the questions. (1)What happened (2)When did it happen (3)Where did it happen (4)How did it make you feel Why (5)What did you learn from the experience 3. Students share their writings in groups. 4. Work on Self Check 2: Ask students to write sentences using the words given. (Answers: Sad movies makes me cry. Speaking in front of many people makes me nervous. Money and fame don’t always make you happy. Soft piano music makes me relaxed. Rainy days make me want to stay at home and watch TV.) 2. Work on Self Check 3: Ask students to number the things [1-6]. Write a reason for each choice. (Attention: Explain to students that 1 means the least important, and 6 means the most important. Ask them to write a reason for each choice. Students can share orally.) Step 4: Summary Encourage students to summarize the key points of this class to help student consolidate the knowledge.
