Before I started my trip to Gansu and Qinghai provinces, some friends advised me to change my travel plan. They said that it wasn't a good idea to visit these places in December. They told me the temperature could drop to -20°C.There would be no green plants on the land. Most of the entertainment(娱乐) and transportation(交通)services would stop at that time. But I had decided to experience a different life.
When I arrived in Dunhuang in Gansu Province,I saw sand everywhere. It was cold and dry there.It was my first time to see a desert. How amazing!
