(2)How have you changed since you started junior high school (3)I’m looking forward to going to senior high school. 3. 掌握本单元语法: 复习宾语从句、动词的时态、非谓语动词
教学重点 1. 掌握本部分出现的生词和词组,达到熟练运用的目标。 2. 学会用宾语从句、动词的时态、非谓语动词回顾过去。
教学难点 用宾语从句、动词的时态、非谓语动词回顾过去。

教学过程
教学过程 Step 1: Leading in 1. Play the song I Remember and ask students to listen to the song together. Help students to recall the happy memories in junior high school through the song. 2. Walk around in the classroom and interview each other the activities they remember in junior high school. Step 2: Preparation Before reading, ask students to make predictions about what the writer may remember in junior high school. Step 3: Reading 1. Ask students to read the poem quickly and answer the questions: (1)What kind of writing is it (2)How many stanzas are there (3)What’s the title of the poem 2. Let students read part 1-6 and answer the questions: (1)What things does the writer remember (2)What’s the writer’s feeling 3. Use a diagram or a thinking map to help students make a summary. 4. Ask students to underline and number the things the writer remember. 5. Ask students to read the last two paragraphs and think about “How does the writer feel now ”. 6. Reads the poem with students sentence by sentence and explain the key words and phrases to students. 7. Ask students to read the poem again and write words that rhyme with the words in the box of 3b. (Answers: hings→rings year→fear class→pass land→understand school→cool flowers→ours) Step 4: Group work 1. Get students to work on the answers to the last question first. 2. In pairs, get students to discuss what the writer’s feelings were with regards to these various events. They can then work on their own feelings. Step 5: Language points 1. look back at look back at “回顾”。 Every time I look back at my childhood, I cannot help missing my dear grandma. 每当回忆童年生活,我总是忍不住想念我亲爱的祖母。 2. on time与in time in time和on time都可在句中作状语,但二者意思不同。on time“准时”;in time “及时”。 We students should go to school on time. 我们学生应当准时去上学。 The doctor came in time and saved the little boy’s life. 医生及时赶到,救了那个小男孩的命。 3. overcome overcome 意为“克服,战胜”,过去式是overcame,过去分词是overcome。 We can and must overcome our shortcomings. 我们能够而且必须克服我们的缺点. 4. remember doing sth.与remember to do sth. remember doing sth.意为“记得做过某事”,表示动作已经发生。 remember to do sth. 意为“记着去做某事”,表示动作尚未发生。 I remember telling you about it last week. 关于此事,我记得上周告诉过你了。 Remember to call us when you get there. 记得在你到达那里的时候给我们打电话。 5. make a mess make a mess“搞得一团糟”。 Tom certainly made a mess of my office. 6. keep one’s cool keep one’s cool “沉住气;保持冷静”,此时cool用作名词。与keep one’s cool意思相似的有keep cool,此时的cool为形容词。 “I must keep my cool,” she thought. “Losing my temper isn’t going to help.” 她想:“我要保持冷静,发脾气是不会起作用的。” Keep cool! 保持冷静! 7. caring caring 意为“体贴人的;关心他人的”。 I've always thought of Jo as a very caring person. 我总是认为乔是个十分关心他人的人。 Step 6: Grammar points 1. 一般现在时 (1)结构: 主语 + am/is/are & 主语 + 动词原形/动词第三人称单数 (2)用法: ①表示经常发生或习惯性的动作或状态。 ②表示现在的特征、状态、能力、性格等。 ③描述客观真理或事实。 ④表示按计划、安排要发生的动作。 (3)标志词:sometimes, often, usually, always, every day等。 2. 一般过去时 (1)结构:主语 + was/were & 主语 + 动词过去式 (3)用法: ①表示过去发生的事情或存在的状态。 ②表示过去反复发生的动作。 (3)标志词:yesterday, just now, last year等。 3. 一般将来时 (1)结构:will + 动词原形 & be going to + 动词原形 (2)用法: ①表示将来要发生的动作或存在的状态。 ②表示说话人的意图、打算或某种可能性,此时多用“be going to + 动词原形”这一结构。 (3)标志词:tomorrow, in the future, next year, this weekend等。 4. 宾语从句 (1)引导词:that, if/whether, 疑问词(组) (2)宾语从句的语序:宾语从句一律用陈述语序,即:“引导词+主语+谓语+其他”。 (3)宾语从句的时态:主句是一般现在时,从句可以用任何时态。主句是一般过去时,从句常用过去的某种时态。宾语从句表示客观真理或事实时,从句用一般现在时。 Step 7: Practice 1. Work on 4a. Ask students to number the sentences to make a paragraph. (Answers: 6, 1, 3, 5, 4, 2) 2. Work on 4b. Ask Ss to answer the questions in 4b. (1)What do you remember about Grade 7 (2)What happened in Grade 8 that was special (3)What did you use to do that you don’t do now (4)How have you changed since you started junior high school (5)How do you think things will be different in senior high school (6)What are your plans for next year (7)What are you looking forward to (Answers will vary.)
课堂作业 1. 复习今天学的新单词和表达方式。 2. 复述3a的课文。 3. 做本节练习册上的习题。
