后面可以带动词不定式的复合结构或从句,也常用于be supposed to结构。

well-known adj.众所周知的;著名的
be well-known as意为“作为……而著名”, 相当于be famous as 。

be well-known for意为“因为……而著名”,相当于be famous for。除v-ing形式外,for后还可跟名词。

6. maybe,副词,在句中作状语,表示推测。相当于perhaps,常位于句首。
may be在may be中,may是情态动词,be是动词原形,两者构成完整的谓语形式,与主语形成系表结构,意为“也许是; 可能是”。

discuss的过去分词是discussed, 现在分词是discussing,

4、dead, die 和 death 的用法区别
①dead adj. 死的、无生命的在句子中可作表语, 表示状态。
be dead可以和表示时间段的状语连用。
②die v. 死、死亡
是一个瞬间动词, 不能和表示时间段的状语连用。
③death n. 死, 死亡

把主动语态改为被动语态非常简单,可以遵循以下几个步骤:   
1.先找出谓语动词;    2.再找出谓语动词后的宾语;   
3.把宾语用作被动语态中的主语;   4.注意人称、时态和数的变化。
