As we have more communication with foreigners, we should pay more attention to the differences in body language.
As we can see from the table, women in China often walk hand in hand, which is not common in America. By contrast, Americans usually don't stand close to each other and they barely touch each other, especially for people of the same sex. Also, Americans think it rude to stick out one's tongue, but Chinese people often use this body language when they are embarrassed or ashamed. Furthermore, Chinese people will pat a child on the head if they like him, and Americans do so as well when they want to give comfort or encouragement.
In a word, differences do exist; only by fully understanding the differences in body language can we communicate in an appropriate way.

I've lived in this neighborhood for years, but I still remember the first person I met when I moved here, and she was Linda who had black wavy hair, big eyes and a smile on her face all the time. I think she was about ten when I first met her.
She was very fond of trees and spent all her spare time collecting leaves and sticking them on a brochure. She remembered exactly when and where she had picked up a particular leaf and whether it was a sunny, windy or rainy day. Because I was interested in seeing what she had collected, I was her best friend or sister, Belle.
Later, Linda went to a boarding school outside the town. She would come home only during vacations. That is to say, we couldn't see each other as often as we used to. But we would make full use of every opportunity to visit the small forest near our home to collect her favorite leaves, and meanwhile, I could listen to her wonderful descriptions of the trees.
You must be wondering why I am talking about Linda. You see, something fantastic happened last week. I was standing on the balcony(阳台) looking at the budding blossoms of the trees. As usual, I remembered Linda whom I had not seen for many years. Two years ago, I got some information from an old neighbor about Linda. She had settled down in France and had a daughter, who resembles her. I wondered whether she still stuck to her hobby of collecting leaves. I was so lost in thought that I did not hear the doorbell ring at first. Then it rang again and again. Two short rings, one long ring and two short rings. Suddenly it dawned on me that it was how Linda used to ring the bell. I ran to the door.
I opened the door and found “Linda” standing there.

“Hello,Belle!I'm Amy,Linda's daughter.”

I've lived in this neighborhood for years, but I still remember the first person I met when I moved here, and she was Linda who had black wavy hair, big eyes and a smile on her face all the time.
“I met when I moved here”为省略了引导词的定语从句,修饰先行词the first person,其中when引导时间状语从句;who引导定语从句,修饰先行词Linda。

One possible version:
Smile
When it comes to body language, there is nothing more attractive than smiling. Sometimes, a smile is so powerful that it gives people suffering from disasters great courage.
A little boy named Lang Zheng, for instance, impressed and encouraged a great many people when a serious earthquake happened in Wenchuan. Right after he was rescued by the soldiers from the ruins, he saluted and smiled at them, whose smile was like sunshine, warming people who were in sadness.
It is safe to say that without a smile our life would be colorless and difficult. It is suggested that we smile as much as possible.
②suffer from遭受
③impress v.
④rescue vt.
①When it comes to body language, there is nothing more attractive than smiling.(When引导时间状语从句;“否定词+比较级”表示最高级)说到肢体语言,没有什么比微笑更吸引人了。
②Right after he was rescued by the soldiers from the ruins, he saluted and smiled at them, whose smile was like sunshine, warming people who were in sadness.
③It is safe to say that without a smile our life would be colorless and difficult.(without引出含蓄虚拟语气)可以肯定地说,如果没有微笑,我们的生活将是无趣且艰难的。
