教学目标
1. 语言知识目标: 1) 能掌握以下字母和词汇: Ii - Rr, what, is, what's, this, in, English, in English, that, map, cup, ruler, pen, orange, jacket, key, quilt, it, a(n) . 2) 能掌握以下句型: ① — What's this in English — It's an orange. ② — What's that in English — It's a map. 3) 能运用所学的句型询问确认周围的事物,并学会事物的英语名称。 4)能掌握字母Ii - Rr的字母顺序,读音及书写。 2. 情感态度价值观目标: 在认识事物的学习活动中培养学生的想象力和创造力;激发学生学习英语的兴趣,发挥学生学习英语的主动性;通过小组活动 、组间竞赛,培养学生的合作意识和团队精神。

教学过程
Step1. Warming-up and revision 1. Greet the Ss. — Good morning/afternoon/evening, class! — Good morning/afternoon/evening, Mr./ Ms. … (Let Ss greet each other in pairs.) 2. Review the letters Aa - Hh. Let Ss recite the letters Aa - Hh. Step2. Presentation and practice Watch a video 1)Teacher shows a video about “What’s this ” 2)Teacher shows some pictures that are from the video and ask the question: Wha’s this Then gives the sentence pattern to help students to answer the question. 2.Learn the words and expressions 1) Look and say Teacher gives a picture of room and ask question: What can you see in the room 2)Point and say After talking about the things freely, teacher points the things and students say the words quickly. 3)Think and discuss Teacher asks the question: Look at these words, some words has “a”, some words has “an”, why 4)Look and check Teacher asks students to look for the small letters in the picture for these big letters and then check the ones students find. 5)Listen and repeat Teacher plays the radio and leads students to listen and repeat. (教师播放录音三次,第一次学生们仅听,第二次和第三次学生们跟读。注意可运用暂停键来让学生们有足够的时间读完。) 6)Read and think After repeating the dialogue, teacher asks students to think the difference between “this” and “that”. 7)Make a new dialogue Teacher leads students to make a new dialogue with the given words to practice the target expressions and words. (让学生们模仿1a图画中的人物的对话,就周围的事物或者PPT所给事物进行问答对话。同学们应注意问较近的事物应用this,而指较远的事物则应用that。) Learn the letters 1)Look and say After pair work, teacher circles the first letter of these words and lets students try to read them.(ppt中所给事物正好根据8个目标字母排列,因此自然衔接到第二部分的学习。) 2)Listen and repeat Teacher plays the radio and leads students to listen and repeat. And then teachers can let some students read out. (教师播放录音三次,第一次学生们仅听,第二次和第三次学生们跟读。注意可运用暂停键来让学生们有足够的时间读完。) 3)Listen and number Then teacher leads students work on 2b: Listen and number the letters you hear [1-10]. (教师也可播放录音二次,第一次听录音填编号、第二次听录音校对答案。) 4)Think and order Teacher shows the words "orange, ruler, pen, key, jacket, map, cup, quilt" to the students and ask students to number the words in alphabetical order. 5)Watch and observe Teacher plays a video of letters’ writing and asks students to think about the writing rules of letters. 6)Look and copy After learning how to write, teacher leads students to write these letters. 7) Write the missing letter a.Tell students to look at the picture in 2d. First, read the letters aloud. Then let some Ss read the letters to the class aloud. b.Let students try to write down the missing letters. Check the answers with your partner. (注意看学生们的字母笔顺是否正确,纠正不正确的笔顺,并让其他学生引起注意。) Talk about the meanings a. Let students look at the pictures in 2e. Let some Ss read the letters below each picture. b. Let some students talk about the meaning of each picture. Step3. Consolidation and extension 1.Play games Teachers divides the students into several groups and students in different groups will try their best to answer quickly. 1)To consolidate the first part: Teacher shows some things according to the target words and then ask the questions, students answer the questions as quick as possible. 2)To consolidate the second part: Teachers shows letter cards, students read it as quick as possible.
