第2课时 Part A Let’s learn & Complete and say
教学内容
Let’s learn 学生能够听、说、认读单词“sunglasses, gloves, scarf, umbrella”。学生能够熟练运用上述单词并运用句型“—Can I help you —The…are nice. Can I try them on ”模拟购物。
Complete and say 学生能够通过观察小图,给衣物进行分类,并运用句型“It’s…, so I put on my…”进行表述。学生能够根据天气,选择适当的衣物。
教学目标
(一)语言知识目标
1. 学生能够够听、说、认读并熟练运用单词“sunglasses, gloves, scarf, umbrella”。
(二)思维能力目标
1. 学生能够根据天气选择适当的衣物。
(三)学习能力目标
1. 学生能够通过pair work等课堂活动,达到乐于听、说英语。

教学过程
Step 1: Revision
Greetings
Revision
The students are going to have a trip this weekend. So they go shopping to buy some new clothes. What clothes are there in the shop
Write down the topic “Shopping” on the blackboard.
Use a mind map to help students review the words of clothes.
(课件出示:衣物类图片)
Point to the picture of “Let’s talk” on page 58 and ask.
T: What did John buy
Ss: Shoes.
T: Now John wants to buy some more clothes. Look! What does he want to buy. Let’s see.
Step 2: Presentation
1. Teach the word “gloves”
Play the cartoon. Students watch the cartoon. (出示课件)
T: What does John want to buy
Ss: Gloves.
Write down the word “gloves” on the blackboard. Students learn the word.
Ask students to practice the conversation in pairs.
2. Teach the word “sunglasses”
Present a picture of the sun on the PPT. (出示课件)
T: It’s sunny and hot outside. What does John need if he wants to go out
Write down the word “sunglasses” on the blackboard. Students learn the word and make a conversation to practice the word.
3.Teach the word “umbrella”
Present a picture of rain on the PPT. (出示课件)
T: It’s rainy outside. What does John need to buy
Write down the word “umbrella” on the blackboard. Students learn the word and make a conversation to practice the word.
4.Teach the word “scarf”
Present a picture of snow on the PPT. (出示课件)
T: It’s very cold and snowy outside. What does John need to buy
Write down the word “scarf” on the blackboard. Students learn the word and make a conversation to practice the word.
Step 3: Practice
1. Let’s read
Show the words on the PPT to play a game. Students read the words they see as fast as they can.

2. Let’s match
Students look at the four pictures of “umbrella, gloves, scarf, sunglasses”on one side and the four words on the other side. Read and match the pictures with the words.(出示课件)
3. Let’s practice
Show the pictures on the PPT. Students practice in pairs.
(课件出示:雨伞、手套、围巾和太阳镜的图片)

4.Complete and say
1)Look and say
Students look at the pictures of “Complete and say” and say the words one by one.
2)Complete the chart
Students divide all the clothes into two groups according to the weather and then try to complete the chart.
3)Let’s PK
Divide students into two groups. Lead them to look at the chart in the book and say like this:
S1: It’s hot, so I put on my T-shirt.
S2: It’s cold, so I put on my sweater.

Step 4: Production
T: Today let’s make a creative weather report! (课件出示:天气预报情景图)
T: Hello! This is Beijing TV. It’s cold in Beijing. So please wear your sweater and scarf today.
Students work in groups to make a creative weather report.
Students show the report.
Step 5: Homework
