Show a picture of Tom’s bedroom and ask the students:What can you see in the bedroom Help the students with the answers:I can see a radio,a clock,a tape,a model plane...2. Read the new words. (1)but作连词,可以连接两个并列成分或两个并列分句,表示转折关系,意为“但是;然而;可是”。辨析:but与and共性均为连词,可将两个独立的短句并列连接为一个较长的句子区别but表示转折的逻辑关系,意为“但是;然而;可是”;and表示并列或顺承的逻辑关系,意为“和;并且”(2)always副词,意为“总是;始终;永远”,常用在一般现在时中,表示频率。(3)asks为动词ask的第三人称单数形式。当主语为表示第三人称单数的名词或代词时,谓语动词要用第三人称单数形式。6.
