教 学 过 程 Step 1 GreetingsGreet the students as usual.Step 2 PresentationShow the picture of a local movie theatre and say something about it: comfortable seats, big screens, best sound, cheap, new movies, close to home, buy tickets quickly, popular… Help the students to learn the words.Step 3 Discussion Ask: How do you choose which movie theater to go to Write the things in the box under “Important” or “Unimportant”. Students discuss with their partners and write the words in the box in the chart. Then ask some students to report their answers.Step 4 Listening Ask students to read the sentences in the chart. Make sure they know the meaning of the sentences. Play the recording for the students to listen and match the statement with the right movie theaters. Play the recording again. Check the answers with the students. Step 5 Pair work Let students read the model with a partner. Use the information in the chart of 1b. Ask and answer with a partner. Let some pairs ask and answer about the chart. Step 6 Listening2a, Read the questions and answers in 2a. Ask students to remember the information.
