教学重点 1. 掌握学科名词、表示品质的形容词。2.熟悉并正确运用句型:—What’s your favorite subject —My favorite subject is...—Why do you like... —Because it’s...3. 询问或表达自己的喜好, 并说明理由。
教学难点 science, geography, history等学科名词的读音和拼写以及my, your, his, her等形容词性物主代词在本单元句型中的使用。

(1)I like...because...意为“我喜欢……因为……”, 用来说明对事物的喜好及原因。注意:在汉语里我们可以说“因为……所以……”, 但是在英语中because和so不能同时出现在一个句子中。(2)play games with sb. 意为“和某人一起玩游戏”, 其中介词with意为“和……在一起”。(3)I think history is interesting. 是一个含有宾语从句的复合句, I think后省略了引导词that。完整的句子为:I think that history is interesting. (4)That’s for sure. 表示完全赞同他人的观点, 相当于汉语中的“那肯定是”“的确如此”或“完全没问题”。4. Translate the following sentences. 他总是和我们一起玩游戏。He always plays games with us. 你最喜欢哪一天?What’s your favorite day 你的体育老师是谁?Who is your P. E. teacher 我认为历史很有趣。I think history is very interesting. 的确如此。That’s for sure. 5. Play a game. Show the students some information like this “Sally—art—relaxing—Mr. Li—Tuesday”and ask them to make conversations with the information. e. g. :A:What’s Sally’s favorite subject B:Her favorite subject is art. A:Why does she like art B:Because it’s relaxing. A:Who is Sally’s art teacher B:Her art teacher is Mr. Li. A:When is her art class B:It’s on Tuesday. Step 8 Summary In this lesson, we have learned:1.
