教学目标 在本课结束以后,学生能够: 1. 认读、理解并掌握一些关于树木的单词和短语,如 save, branch, harmful, gas, produce, oxygen, major, convenient, fight against, take in等 2. 懂得用所学词汇表达树木给我们生活带来的好处; 3. 了解树木对环境和人类的重要性,学会爱护树木,培养对爱护树木和环境责任意识。
教学内容分析 本课为词汇课,为下一环节阅读课时积累相关生词和短语表达。本课通过视频导入创设语境。视频内容包含两个方面:树的组成部分有哪些以及树可以给我们带来什么好处。具体内容以视频和文本挖空的形式出现。要求学生根据视频内容,填写相关信息。看完视频之后,通过截图再现学习重点单词的拼写、发音和用法。每一个提供的文本之间是有一条主线的。学生在学习完所有文本后将会了解到树木对环境和人类的重要性,学会爱护树木,培养对爱护树木和环境责任意识。
学情分析 本课是本册书第四单元的词汇课,虽然树木的话题与学生的日常生活息息相关,但学生对树的词汇量并没有太丰富,而语篇涉及的生词量较多,因此词汇课可以有效地减轻学生在阅读课的学习负担。词汇课能帮助他们更好地理解文章意思。而且词汇课里选取的文本和阅读是相似的,因此学生在词汇课相当于浏览了一遍阅读课中同类型的表达。通过这种方式,学生不仅能对本单元的核心词汇进行了反复记忆,还能对下一节的阅读课做准备,为读后环节作铺垫。

教学策略 采用语境教学法、交际法。
前置作业 学生收集关于树木各部分表达。
教学环节 教与学活动(师生活动) 设计意图
Step 1. Lead-in Ss share their findings on “parts of trees”. Arouse Ss’ interest in the topic.
Step 2. Presentation Teacher asks Ss to watch a video about different parts of tree and ask them to write down the new words on the handout. Teacher shows the answers and teach Ss. the pronunciation and phonetics of those new words. Teacher also shows the Chinese meaning. Teach Ss to quickly grasp the answer of the video material. Teach Ss the pronunciation and the phonetics. Help Ss. have a better understanding of those new words.
Step 3. Presentation Teacher ask Ss. to ask think about one question: what can trees give us Then show some examples. Finally, the teacher make a conclusion: trees make our lives more convenint. Then learn about some new words. Encourage Ss to come up with more things that trees give us in our daily lives.
Step 4. Presentation Teacher ask a question: What can photothesis(光合作用) do for us Students watch the video carefully and fill in the blanks. Students check their answers and know the first benefit people can get from trees. Teacher ask the second question: What other benefits can we get from trees Students watch the video carefully and fill in the blanks. Teach Ss to quickly grasp the answer of the video material. Learn phonetics, pronunciation and teh Chinese meaning of the new words.
Step 5. Further thinking Teacher ask a question: What do you think of trees Students brainstorm and share their answers. Reinforce Ss’ understanding of pine trees
Step8. Summary Teacher lead Ss to review what they have learned in this lesson. Ss. Know the importance of protecting trees. Reinforce students’ memory of the main points in this lesson.
