教学目标 语言能力: - 语言知识: - (1)词汇:抓住听力材料中关于松树的重要信息,包括松树在我国被广泛种植的原因,以及松树在我们的日常生活中所起的作用等相关表述;在文化角中学习关于茶的知识。 - (2)语篇:学习连接词的作用,学会通过连接词理解段落中语义的分隔。 -技能: - (1)听:学生听取关于松树的信息。 - (2)读:学生能够读懂关于茶的文章。 文化意识: - 学生能认识到树木的重要性,学会保护树木资源,培养保护树木的责任意识。 思维品质: - 学生能积极参与合作讨论,培养合作意识。
教学内容分析 本课时包括listening和culture corner两个部分。听力主要介绍了松树在我国被广泛种植的原因,以及松树在我们的日常生活中所起的作用等,以挖空的形式呈现,要求学生根据文章内容,填写相关信息。 松树的用途很多,除了课本提及的作用,人们还使用松针泡茶或制作气泡水,在post-listening环节,可引导学生对树木的其他用途进行小组讨论,激发他们对单元主题的兴趣,让学生可以畅所欲言,随后引入culture corner中对中国茶的介绍作为补充。
学情分析 本课是本册书第四单元的听说课,虽然树木的话题与学生的日常生活息息相关,但该则听力材料为短文理解,与单句和对话不同,有一定完整的思想内容涉及到的词汇量较大涉及的知识面也广,对学生来说在理解段落层次、抓取重点信息及快速记录方面都有一定的难度,因此要求学生能够通过听取主题句、连接词来理解段落语义的分隔,同时要具备一定的速记技巧,处理听和写之间注意力分配的矛盾。此外,教材以原点和短横两种符号呈现了主题句与支撑句两个层次的信息,教师可在进行听力练习前带领学生理解符号的含义。本课输出环节需要学生围绕树木的其他用途进行讨论,为了让学生更顺利地参与小组讨论发表意见,在开展正式教学前应注意布置前置作业,让学生先获取话题有关的背景知识,同时积极参与到课堂中来。
教学重难点 重点:准确抓住听力材料中关于松树的重要信息,包括松树在我国被广泛种植的原因,以及松树在我们的日常生活中所起的作用等相关内容。了解中国茶的种植历史,增强民族自豪感。 难点:学生能理解段落层次,从而抓取重点信息及快速记录。
教学策略 采用自主合作学习、任务型教学法、交际法。
前置作业 学生收集关于不同种类树木的名称,课前五分钟以小组为单位进行汇报。

Step 1. Lead-in Ss share their findings of tree names. Arouse Ss’ interest in the topic.
Step 2. Pre-listening Teacher asks Ss to observe the form provided in the textbook, lead them to differentiate between topic sentences and supporting sentences. Teacher asks Ss to predict the part of speech of each blank. Teacher introduces some linking words, such as then, next, after. Teach Ss to quickly grasp the structure of the listening material. Train Ss to predict before listening.
Step 3. While-listening 1 Ss listen to a radio program about pine trees and complete the notes below. Write one word or figure in each blank. Cultivate students’ ability to listen for details.
Step 4. While-listening 2 Ss listen to the radio program again and answer the questions. Are pine trees common to see in China Why do people grow pine trees in cities How can we make use of with pine trees Allow students to understand the importance of pine trees.
Step 5. Post-listening Ss read the notes about pine trees and try to sum up the major information of the listening materials(place, features, usages). Ss listen to the tape again and find out more linking words. Reinforce Ss’ understanding of pine trees. Introduce more linking words.
Step 6. Lead-in Teacher plays a short video of pine needle tea. Free talk: Do you like drinking tea Introduce the topic of culture corner: Chinese tea.
Step 7. Culture corner Ss read the passage and answer the following questions. Where does tea come from According to an old story, who discovered tea What did Lu Yu do during the Tang Dynasty How many types of tea are there Lead Ss to learn about Chinese tea and its history.
Step8. Summary Teacher lead Ss to review what they have learned in this lesson. Reinforce students’ memory of the main points in this lesson.

Homework Must-do: Find more facts about different parts of trees on the Internet. Optional: Read after the tape of the listening materials and culture corner. Write down their understanding of pine trees and Chinese tea.
