Today I’ll talk about how to improve your pronunciation. Language researchers say pronunciation and fluency (流利度) are the biggest difficulties, followed by grammar and listening. However, most people don’t regard pronunciation as a very important part of communication skills. They pay more attention to vocabulary. One reason is that most people don’t even realize their mispronunciations. So it’s important to find out the words you mispronounce first. You should listen to experts those who make fewer pronunciation mistakes. When listening to them, you should pay attention to words that sound strange, because you may pronounce the same words differently. When you meet such words, look up their right pronunciations in a dictionary. You can also search for words that are difficult to pronounce and make a list (清单) of them. At last, read aloud. Now you’ve got the correct pronunciations of the words. It’s time to practice reading them out every day.

Over the last 20 years, technology has been used more and more in schools. These days, it’s common for students to use computers or tablets. In many places, it’s normal for students to look up information on the Internet rather than using books. As classes moved online during the COVID-19 pandemic, the use of technology in education grew even more quickly. But is technology really useful to students A recent report by UNESCO (联合国教科文组织) warns that using technology in classes may not help as much as many people believe.
UNESCO agrees that technology can help in many ways. It can allow students to learn in ways that are more interesting; it can help teachers explain difficult ideas; it can also help students who have special needs. But UNESCO also says technology can be very distracting (令人分心的). When students use phones in class, it can get in the way of their learning. One study that was carried out in 14 countries shows that even just having a smartphone nearby can be distracting. Even so, UNESCO says that less than 25% of the world’s countries ban (禁止) phones in schools.
The goal of the report is to help improve how technology is used in education. The report says that technology can be helpful, but it shouldn’t be the center of education. Instead, technology should simply be used to properly support learning. “Too much attention on technology in education usually comes at a high cost,” the report says. “We need to teach children to study both with and without technology,” says Manos, the director behind the UNESCO report.
Also, the report suggests that the best way to learn is still to work closely with teachers. Working with other classmates also helps students learn well. UNESCO says that most schools should spend more money on books, classrooms and teachers.
Background: The use of technology in education keeps 106 Electronics are common among students. Students normally turn to the Internet for information. The COVID-19 pandemic sped up the use of technology in education.
107 allowing students to learn in more interesting ways helping with the teaching work meeting students’ special needs Problems: Technology influences students’ 108 on learning. Most countries haven’t realized the problem.
Conclusion (结论): Using technology in education may be 109 than we think.
Goal: to help improve the way technology is used in education Regard technology as a tool instead of the center of education. Don’t 110 technology in education too much. Spend more money on books, classrooms and teachers rather than on technologies.

【原文】
Wuyi Rock Tea is a kind of Oolong tea. The tea trees grow in Wuyi Mountain in Fujian province, so it gets this name. And the traditional home of Rock Tea is only from a small area in the mountain. In 2006, the government added the skills of making Wuyi Rock Tea to a list, which meant they would be protected by more people around the country. Richard Yu is a master of making Wuyi Rock Tea. In 1980, he started learning the skills. But it was a big challenge. In 1990, he could finally make the tea by himself. There are 13 steps to make it, including shaking, drying and cooking. Shaking was the most difficult. It requires Yu to know when to stop shaking based on the color. But this needs patience and experience. Sometimes he stops after shaking several times, while sometimes it can be hundreds of times. With three main processes, it usually takes more than 20 hours! Each process needs temperatures from 125 to 155°C. Tea makers have to keep a close eye on it and turn over the leaves every 50 minutes, or it might burn. Yu is still learning because the most fascinating part is that every step is full of changes: different tea trees, weather and temperatures. Every time is an adventure.
