Many Chinese parents believe that hard work makes children succeed. A number of children receive strict training in studying from their parents. Sophia Chua－Rubenfeld knows the idea well. She shared 26 study tips on her personal blog. The girl finished her studies at Yale University in the United States. Her post(帖子) raised a discussion about her mother, Amy Chua, a professor at Yale Law School. People called Chua “Tiger Mom” for her book, Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother, which came out in 2011. Because of the book, she became popular. She has two daughters, Sophia and Lulu. At school, she didn't allow them to get grades lower than A. They couldn't sleep outside, meet friends or watch TV on school days. They had to practice the piano or the violin for several hours a day. A number of people disagreed on Chua's rules because they thought that the two girls couldn't be happy or truly creative. They will grow up with enough skills, but they may just follow orders without their own ideas. They were not independent and they wouldn't work out big deals, according to The New York Times. However, several years passed and the girls grew up. It seems that both of them have a good life and are thankful to their mother. “People think that Tiger Mom's training would bring us stress, but I think I am more confident than some others after the training，” Lulu told New York Post.
