课型:听说课
(一)【课标分析】
根据新课标的要求,九年级的学生在英语的语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识五个方面应达到的综合行为能力为五级。
也就是说,这一阶段的学生应该有明确的英语学习动机、积极主动的学习态度和自信心。
能听懂有关熟悉话题的陈述并参与讨论。能就日常生活的相关话题与他人交换信息并陈述自己的意见。能读懂相应水平的读物和报纸、杂志,克服生词障碍,理解大意。能根据阅读目的运用适当的阅读策略。能根据提示独立起草和修改小短文。
能与他人合作,解决问题并报告结果,共同完成学习任务。能对自己的学习进行评价,总结学习方法。能利用多种教育资源进行学习。
进一步增强对文化差异的理解和认识。
本节课是九年义务教育阶段九年级下册内容,主要对以前所学知识起一个深化和巩固的作用,并为以后的英语学习奠定更好的基础。
在本节课的教学中,要求学生能够熟练运用sock whenever proper edge yourself starve go rock stone fairly smooth straight等十二个生词和go off in one go rock climbing三个短语。能够听懂发出指令或提出建议的对话。合理使用情态动词,识别并正确朗读句子中词语的连读。
通过和同学交流探讨对登长城旅游的注意事项以及对本节课的学习,使他们能听懂发出指令或提出建议的对话,自己也能用恰当的方式熟练的语言,给旅游者正确的发出指令和建议,口、笔头表达自己的观点。
总之,本节课的任务就是:培养学生说明规则和提出建议的能力;训练学生正确地使用情态动词表达责任义务、允许、禁止等;提高学生的文化素养和环保意识。
(二)【教材分析】
本节课是外研版九年义务教育阶段九年级下次Module4 Unit1的教学。教学重点是情态动词的运用和规则与建议的提出。第一单元的对话以老师带领学生登长城为背景,谈到一些相关旅游的规定和安全方面的注意事项。对话中包含许多给予许可和表达禁止的英语句型,学生要在不同的语境中体会情态动词语气的强弱区别,学会用恰当的方式发出指令或提出建议,养成关心帮助他人的良好品质,非常实用。
在七年级下册的Module 2 和八年级上册的Module 10和Module 11中,我们已经学习过情态动词can, might, must, may 等的用法;在七年级上册的Module 11,对祈使句的用法作了简单介绍;九年级上册Module5中,同学们对命令和禁止有了详细的学习。所以,九年级下学期的学生在已有的这些基础上学习本节课内容,已是迎刃而解的事了。
一节课的时间是有限的,为了突出教学重难点,我对教材内容进行了适当的整合。对于Activity6的连读教学,我放在了学生分角色表演时个别指导,和下一节课检查对本对话掌握时,再加以强调补充的方式进行。同时,我还充分整合利用教材、网络知识、多媒体教学手段辅助教学,使学生在课堂上获得最大可能的收获。
(三)【学情分析】
通过前面两年多的英语学习,九年级下学期的学生已经具有了相应水平的听说和会话能力。并且在七年级下册的Module 2 和八年级上册的Module 10和Module 11中,我们已经学习过情态动词can, might, must, may 等的用法;七年级上册的Module 11,对祈使句的用法作了简单介绍;九年级上册Module5中,同学们对命令和禁止有了详细的学习。大多数的同学已基本会用情态动词表达意图,对于一些简单的命令和建议也能听懂,甚至表达。课堂上设计一些小组讨论和分角色表演,争取起到以优带差,全面前进的目的。
为了提高本节课的学习效率,课前布置学生搜集有关英文的旅游场所注意事项,调动学生学习的积极性。让学生小组内甚至班内交流旅游的规则和建议,提高了学生对本节课学习的兴趣。我还充分发掘利用教材、教学资料,多媒体等资源,把初中三个年级的知识加以整合,使学生更加系统全面的获取知识。
(四)教学设计
教学内容 外研版九年级下册Module 4 Unit 1
教学目标 1.To understand conversations of talking about rules and suggestions.
2.To learn and use some key words and useful expressions.

学习策略:1、自主搜集英文的旅游场所注意事项,并和同学进行交流。
2、与同学交流探讨问题,合作学习。
教学重难点:合理使用情态动词的,用恰当的方式发出指令和给出建议。
教学过程:
Warming-up
利用人们在爬山或攀岩的图片,引出Have you ever climbed mountains? Do you like it?的句子,很自然的导出,培养学生对Climbing这一话题的兴趣,为后面You must be careful of falling stones when walking in the hills.做好铺垫。
利用“旁边有陡峭石壁的山路”、前几天“桂林景区落石”的图片,和Do you know the rules for mountain-climbing? Can you give some suggestions about it? 很自然的导入本节课的话题-指令和建议。
然后, Look at the signs. Then say what suggestions you can give to people who go walking in the mountains.学习:
Be careful! Don’t fall into the water.
Don’t climb.
You mustn’t make fire here.
Be careful of falling stones.
创设我们在爬山的情境,Imagine you are walking in the hills, and the path is difficult to walk, What clothes should we wear? 多数学生能回答:
S: We should wear strong shoes, thick socks and proper clothes.
T: After walking for long, you may feel tired, hungry and thirsty. What should we take?
S: We should take some foo and plenty of water
T: And you should always keep together.
S: We should always go walking with friends.
T: Well. You must pay attention to your personal safety. Don’t walk too close to the side of the hill path. Can you drink water from the stream?

表示“一个人能做某事时”,用can或could表达。(注意 与be able to 的区别)

本节课很好的落实了新课标新理念。通过本节课的学习,可以使学生较深入的学习运用情态动词,通过和同学交流探讨对登长城旅游的注意事项以及对本节课的学习,使他们能听懂发出指令或提出建议的对话,自己也能用恰当的方式熟练的语言,给旅游者正确的发出指令和建议,口、笔头表达自己的观点。
我认为,一开始通过导入练习,学生很自然融入到了本节课的旅游情境,结合他们课前对旅游注意事项的调查,说出一些旅游规则建议,对他们来说已是很自然的事情了。而课前预习检测,又为本节课的顺利进行扫清了障碍。
听力练习(一)旨在训练学生通过听获取信息的能力,同时导入话题,为学习大对话做准备。但前三个问题有点难,所以把录音连放两遍,并给予适当的提示,使听力难度降低。小组内互相提醒,问题很容易就得到了解决。
长对话第一次听难度大,但我设计了较为简单的四个小问题,照顾到一些基础较为薄弱的学生,他们听一遍也能回答出这些问题,为他们对下面进一步的学习树立了信心。
Task 2的浏览对话回答问题,培养了学生快速阅读篇章掌握信息的能力,并为下一环节的二听做好准备。
Task3 Listen again and complete the passage with proper words.本练习题旨在检查学生详听掌握信息的能力,也是对本节课语言点的巩固练习。80%以上的学生做得很好。
Task3 的完成句子,既巩固考察学生对重点语句的精准掌握,又重点强调情态动词的使用。学生在找句子,写答案的过程中,很自然的就理解并掌握了情态动词的用法。培养了学生从文本中寻找、捕捉、提取文本信息的能力。后面紧跟的巩固练习,使学生对情态动词的用法得到了更好地巩固和提升。
提升与拓展练习部分,问题设置紧扣本课重难点,学生的主体性发挥得很好。
总之,这节课学生在教师及时、积极的评价激励下,使整个课堂充满了活力,效果非常好。

我校英语组老师听了这节课后,进行了评课议课。下面是我对他们意见的整合。
这一堂课是一堂清晰实在,扎实系统的英语听说课。教师以新的课程理念为指导,充分结合学生这一年龄阶段的特点,设计组织了整堂课。本课的教学注重了以下几个方面:
1、情境导入,充分调动学生的兴趣。良好的开头对一堂课的成功与否,起着关键的作用。本堂课一开始,教师就用多媒体图片和旅游这一话题整合导入新课,使学生的注意力在最短的时间里被激活。
2、体现了新课程"三维目标"。教师的教学方法灵活多样。不是教书本,而是以书本教,以学生现有的知识经验导入,学生兴趣浓,由学习课本的语言知识输入到延伸过程中的语言知识输出,通过教师引导使学生运用语言知识,学会交际,学会做事情。整堂课中的活动,都是比较新颖而又自然,具有生活化的。尽可能发挥学生的主体作用,让学生真实的去感受知识,体验知识,积极参与,努力实践,在活动中学会用语言表达交流,较好的体现了从不懂到懂,从不会到会,从不熟练到熟练的过程。
3、教学活动的设计训练方式多样,有全班活动,师生互动,小组活动,分角色表演,个人活动等,在活动中突破难点,在活动中发展能力。而且还调动了每一个学生的参与热情。将热闹的形式与有效的语言实践有机结合。
英语课堂的活动应该以语言运用为落脚点,本堂课上,很好的贯彻了:在用中学,学中用,学用结合,学以致用的原则。同时体现了以学生为主体,教师为主导的新课程理念。在这样的一个学习过程中,学习者处于相对自然的态势,不断的在习得和使用语言,学和用每分每秒都和谐的交织在一起。
本课中值得探讨的地方:
教师语言不是很丰富。活动形式往往单调、缺乏趣味性。
几点建议:
千方百计、想方设法激发学生学习兴趣,调动学生学习积极性。在潜移默化中培养兴趣。
在课堂上注意学生的综合运用能力的训练。在基础的语言形式训练上提升交际品位,为学生创设丰富的语言环境,让学生产生交际的愿望和机会,使交际具有实际内容和实际意义。因此在平时的教学中要求听说领先,读写跟上,使学生的听、说、读、写的能力得以均衡发展。
(七)课后反思:
本节课是一节听说课。首先创设情境导入,给学生任务,以学生在课堂自主探索、合作学习为主,把学生当成获取知识发展自我的主人。引导学生主动参与课堂活动、独立思考、自主发现、不断创新和培养实践能力,让学生由“学会”转变到“会学”。小组合作互助,激发学生的学习兴趣。通过Role-Play,全面地让学生参与,使同学互励,调动后进生的学习积极性,挖掘优秀生的潜能。注重培养学生听说读写的综合运用语言的能力。让学生听后说、说后读、读后再说,小组FreeTalk之后,再表演。听说读写相辅相成。分层布置作业,让不同层次的学生都获得发展,让每个学生能有成就感。
遗憾的是,这节课仍旧有不尽人意的地方:没有设计专门的语言点讲解;没有充分调动起学生活动的最大热情;写作练习留在了课后。
今后的课堂,我将结合本堂课的经验和不足,更充分的调动学生学习的积极性,使每个学生都积极参与课堂,让学生成为课堂的真正主人!
