教学过程
Step1 Revision Review the structure and use of General Question with students together. Step2 Warming Up Teachers let students have a guessing game, using the target sentence pattern. “Is this a/an... Yes, it is./No, it isn’t.” and “Are these... Yes, they are./No, they aren’t.” T:Can you have a guess What’s this Is this an eraser S: No, it isn’t.Is this a pen T: Yes, it is. Then if there are three pens. How can we ask S:Are these pens T:Yes, they are. What about the second one? S:Are these.. T:And if a thing is a little far. We should ask S:What’s that Is that a/an... T:Yes, it is./No, it isn’t. T:Then what are those S: Are those... T: Yes, they are./No, they aren’t. Here, isn’t ,we can also say S: is not. T:Bravo! And aren’t it’s S: are not; it is. T: You are smart! What about pronunciation Let’s read together! (Design Intention:With a guessing game, students are motivated to talk about the target sentence patterns. ) Step3 Presentation 1.Summarize the use of this//these/that/those. T: Now let’s look at the pictures and tell the differences among the four words. Who can (If students can answer the questions, then review together and move on. If not, give examples) T:This and these are followed by things that are close to us. That and those are followed by things that are a little far from us. For this/that, we should put is and singular noun like a box. But for these/those we should put are and plural nouns like boxes. (Design Intention: After students have the guessing game, ask them to summarize the use of this/these/that/those, let the rules impressive.) 2.Ask students to finish 3a. Then check the answers. 3.Nick and Flash are talking about their bags on Wechat Group. Let’s see and pay attention to the circled words. Why here put “your and my” Do you know? S:Because there are nouns after your and my. T: Then let’s see “yours and mine” what’s the difference Your and yours (Teacher asks students to discuss in the group and tell the difference between your and yours, my and mine, then show Chinese description). Then ask students to observe Grammar Focus and summarize more possessive adjectives and possessive pronouns. 4.Ask students to finish 3b. Pay attention to Yes and No. Then check the answers. Step4 Production Teachers ask students put things into teacher’s box before class and let students find the owner of the things using target sentence patterns. Step5 Practice Teacher asks students to finish exercises to master the rules learned today. Step 6 Homework Must do: Make a conversation.(You can use given sentence patterns or you can make your own conversation). Choose to do: Make a video according to the conversation (3-5minutes).
