2. Learn the key words and phrases: test, school trip, basketball game, English test

教学过程
Step1. Revision Teacher asks students about the dates of festivals Step2. Lead in Teacher: Do you like your school life Students: Yes! Teacher : Why Students: because the teachers and classmates are very kind. We have many school events. Step3. Presentation Teacher shows pictures and let students answer the questions. What can you see in the picture What are they doing What school event is it Teacher asks students to say more school events. Step4. Match Teacher: Please match the pictures with events Let students finish 1a. Step5. Listening Teacher: John and Sally are talking about John’s events. Listen and circle the events you hear in 1a. Let students finish 1b and ask them check the answer . Listen again, fill in John’s calendar. Before listening, show listening tips to help students write down quickly. Step6.Imitation Ask students to read and imitate. Let students know more ways about asking questions. Step7. Pair work Let students ask and answer questions about john’s calendar. A: When is Sally’s birthday B: It’s on October 5th. Step8. Design and pair work Ask students to design their own calendar, write down four events and how they think of them. Exchange calendar with partner, ask and answer. Step9. Report Ask students to make a report according to their calendar. Step10. Homework Ask students to write down their reports.
