Ability objective ① Understand conversations about travel experiences . ②Talk about holiday travel with a special interrogative sentence in the past. 3.Emotion objective Share with others with their own holiday journey experience. Important points:How to use simple past tense to describe your experiences . Difficult points:How to use the new words and key structure to describe your experiences. Teaching Method: Communicative Approach, Task-based Language Teaching Teaching Aids: Multimedia computer, blackboard,tape,pictures.

Step 1. Warming-up 3' 1.Ss answer the questions. 2.Let Ss guess the city of the pictures. Ask some questions. (free talk) show some pictures of cities Lead into the topic of this unit. Multi-media, PPT Active classroom atmosphere,cultivating students’ habit of speaking English, boldly and gradually lead to the past tense.
Step 2. Vocabulary learning 4' Ss study the new words by themselves. Try their best to read. Find out the words they feel difficult, studying with other Ss, and following to them. Study new words together. Give several minutes to Ss studying the new words. Find out words which some Ss are difficult on pronunciation.Ask all Ss have a try. Read all together. Find out the wrong pronunciation and help Ss. PPT Let the students get familiar with the new words and increase their vocabulary.
Step 3. Pre-listening 3' Work in pairs to finish the task. 2.students raise their hands to answer questions. Find these places on the map in Activity 1. Ask them to find the places on the map. PPT To let Ss get ready for listening activity.
Step 4. While-listening 20' Ask the students to listen carefully. Let Ss to check own answers 3.Follow the recording(part 2)and read the dialogue. Activity 1: ①Play the recording(part 1) . ②Play the recording(part 1) again. ③Collect the answers from the students and tell them the truth answers. Activity 2: ①Play the recording(part 2). ②Follow the recording(part 2)and read the dialogue. ③Ask some students to complete the questions,and explain the correct answer. Mult- media, PPT, tape Through listening training,students’ listening ability can be continuously enhanced and the ability to capture information can be pleted relevant exercises to enable students to quickly understand the content of the dialogue,and initially understand the structure and meaning of the special questions of the general past tense
Step 5. Post-listening 10' 1.Ask the students the answers and explain the answers. 2.work in group to finish the dialogue practice. Activity 1: ①work in pairs to completed the exercise of the part 3. Activity 2: ①Use the sentence pattern given in part 5 for dialogue practice in groups of four. ②Select a group from the podium for dialogue exercises. PPT Through there oral communication activities,the students develop their oral communication skills,and in the process of communication,they further understand the past tense and correctly used the special questions of the general past tense for dialogue.
Step 6. Summary 3' Review the new words and important structure.. Ask Ss what they have learned today. PPT To review the knowledge point.
Step 7. Homework 2' ①Copy the new words at least 10 each row. ②Make up a dialogue about holiday and use a special question from the general past tense. Teacher gives some homework about writing to Ss. Ending this class. PPT By completing the homework,consolidate and strengthen the knowledge learned this lesson
