本单元话题是“周末活动”(Weekend activities)。本节课是本单元的第二节课,是一节语法课。本部分在梳理Section A所学的语言结构的基础上,通过问答练习引导学生进行自主探究性的语法学习、发现并巩固本单元目标语言的主要语法知识。
学完这一课,学生能够掌握:
1.语法:一般过去时的特殊疑问句;
2.能力:运用一般过去时的特殊疑问句来询问并描述过去的事情;
3.交际功能:
使用“What did you do last weekend ”“I did my homework.”“We went boating.”“Who visited her grandma ”“Becky did.”“Where did she go last weekend ”“She went to a farm.”句型询问并描述过去的事情。
重点语法:一般过去时的特殊疑问句。
一般过去时的特殊疑问句;区分一般过去时与其他时态。
新课导入
1.教师在PPT中呈现图片,让学生根据图片快速说出相应的词汇,看谁说得又快又准确。注意提醒学生使用动词的过去式。
2.让学生根据课件提供的对话示例采用接龙的形式完成对话练习,提高学生的课堂参与度,激发学生的学习热情,同时为后面的语法学习作铺垫。

Step 1: New words and expressions
教师要求学生课前预习生词,可抽出适当的时间进行检测,确保学生掌握本节生词,为新课学习作准备。
Step 2: Pre-learning
【教师活动】
(1)让学生分成两大组,分别朗读 Grammar Focus 表格中的问句和答语。
(2)让学生观察这些句子,然后两人一组,讨论并回答问题。

Step 3: While-learning
【教师活动】讲解一般过去时的特殊疑问句的句式结构,以及一般过去时的用法,然后让学生完成学习任务单上的课堂学习任务一的第2小题,巩固和消化所讲解的内容。
【学生活动】听完讲解后,就教师所讲的内容提出疑问,然后完成学习任务单上的课堂学习任务一的第2小题。
Step 4: Post-learning
【教师活动】
(1)让学生明确3a的任务要求,独立完成对话填空,训练学生根据上下文推断所缺信息的能力。在学生做题的过程中,教师提醒学生注意句首第一个字母应大写。
(2)学生完成后,教师依次讲解,全班核对答案。然后让学生说出完整的问句,巩固一般过去时的特殊疑问句。

(1)先让学生写出3b方框中动词的过去式形式,然后再通读整个故事,最后根据故事内容确定需要填的词汇,完成3b的任务。

(1)让学生表演故事。可以让学生先朗读故事,提醒学生朗读时注意句子的重读以及语气变化。
(2)让学生四人一组,表演故事。一个扮演 Narrator (叙述者),一个扮演 Father Mouse,一个扮演 Baby Mouse,一个扮演 Cat。

【教师活动】展示3c的任务要求,引导学生根据提示猜测周末活动。教师先在黑板上画出自己周末做的事情,让学生猜测;然后让学生到黑板上画一画自己的周末活动,其他学生猜。

两个带 who 的问句为什么一个需要助动词,一个不需要助动词?
当 who 在句子中作主语时,不需要借助助动词 did,直接用实义动词的过去式。当 who 在句子中作宾语时,则和其他问句一样,要借助助动词 did。

一般过去时的特殊疑问句可对过去的动作发生的时间、地点、原因、方式等进行提问。常见的疑问词有 who、what、when、where、why、how 等。
