Section B (1a-1e)
本单元话题是“周末活动”(Weekend activities)。本节课是本单元的第三节课,是一节听说课。本部分通过完整的听说任务链,引导学生在听说的过程中运用相关词汇描述日常活动,并通过观察图片、听录音、小组讨论等活动,运用所学词汇和句型谈论自己的周末。
学完这一课,学生能够掌握:
1.词汇:fly、kite、fly a kite、study for a test、go to the library;
2.能力:运用所学词汇和句型谈论过去发生的事情;使用一般过去时的特殊疑问句询问信息;在听力中抓住关键信息;
3.交际功能:
使用“On Sunday afternoon, I flew a kite in the park.”“Who went to the library ”“Sally did.”“Did you do anything interesting last weekend ”“Not really, but I visited my sister.”等句型谈论过去发生的事情。

Step 2: Pre-listening
【教师活动】
(1)让学生看图,说出萨利和吉姆昨天所做的事情。提醒学生使用动词的过去式,并注意其读音。
(2)让学生完成1a的任务。
【学生活动】先根据图片说出萨利和吉姆昨天所做的事情,然后完成学习任务单中的课堂学习任务一的第1小题。
【教师活动】展示1b的任务要求,让学生谈论1a的周末活动是否有趣,训练学生的开放性思维。然后教师提问“Why do/don’t you think they are fun ”,让几个学生谈谈他们的观点。

Step 3: While-listening
【教师活动】先让学生明确1c的任务要求,然后播放1c的录音,让学生完成表格。

注意:由于所填的单词较多,教师可以引导学生在填空的时候,先写下关键词,或关键词的关键字母,如did home(work)、stu(died for a) test、went (to the) lib(rary)。听完后再补全所缺内容,培养学生边听边做笔记的听力技能。

(1)再次播放录音,让学生检查所填写的内容,然后全班核对答案。

(3)学生完成练习后,请几名学生根据教师给出的问句进行回答。
