教材分析 本课是一节典型的阅读课,其主要目的在于训练学生的阅读能力,培养学生正确的阅读方法和阅读技巧。本单元的话题是chores ,主要是关于家庭生活,谈论家务琐事及家庭互助。家庭生活及家务劳动是社会、家庭和学生生活中的重要方面,对学生生活习惯的养成、社会行为习惯及家庭责任感的建立起着重要的作用。通过学习本单元,学生应当能认识到家庭亲情及家庭义务的重要性,应对参加及帮助父母做适当的家务持有积极的态度。
学情分析 本节课话题来自学生的生活经历,学生在七年级已经学习了许多动词短语,为表达提供了语言基础。活动设计的话题从谈论家务–对家务的看法–父母和孩子之间承担的家务等生活的各个方面,与学生的生活紧密相连,又是学生饶有兴趣的内容,为英语表达提供了真实的材料,使得学生在活动中想说,有话说,达到任务的真实性、有效性。在学习中,学生受到爱的教育,学会爱父母、爱家庭、爱劳动,学会如何与人交往,学会表达自己对事情的看法。
