教 学 过 程 Step 1 Lead in 1. Greet students as usual. 2. Ask Ss to make a dialogue using “could…” in pairs. Example: A: Could I go to the movies, mom B: Yes, you can./No, you can’t. … Step 2 Presentation 1. Show the pictures of some activities and housework and ask students to answer what Ss want to do and what parents allow Ss to do (allow students answer in Chinese and the teacher teach students how to express in English). 2. Guess and talk about the picture to practice the oral English. Example: T: Look at the picture, ask and answer. S1: Does he clean his room T: No, he doesn’t. S2: Does he make his bed T: Yes, he does. Step 3 Practice (1a & 1b) 1.Look at 1a. Ask Ss to discuss the question: What do parents ask their teenagers to do 3. Ask the Ss to write parents or teenagers next to each phrase. 4. Listen and repeat. Step 5 Group works 1.Divide the students into groups and give a certain situation. Imagine you are having a party. Step 7 Summary In this class we practiced listening skills. You should know the meaning of the tapes. And you should master the new words and phrases.
