教 学 过 程 Step 1 Warming-up and lead in 1. Greet as usual. 2. Ask Ss several questions. T: Good morning, boys and girls! Do you often help your parents at home S1: Yes, I do. T: What do you usually do to help your parents S1: I often wash the clothes. ... Step 2 Presentation 1.Present some pictures about some housework to teach Ss new words and phrases. 2.Ask Ss as follows: T: S2, could you please take out the rubbish S2: Sure, teacher. ... 【设计意图】通过图片导入,一方面引导学生对句型“Could you do...”的练习,一方面加强对于家务表达语块的输入,学习生词。 Step 3 Practice Work on 1a 1.Look at 1a. Read the phrases. 2.Do you do these chores at home Let Ss discuss them with their partners. 3.Ask Some Ss to show in class. 4. Let Ss write VO (very often); O (often); S (seldom); HE (hardly ever) or N (never) beside the chores. And tell like this: I very often make my bed. I often do the dishes and take out the rubbish. But I seldom fold my clothes and sweep the floor. I never clean the living room. Work on 1b 1. Play the tape and ask the Ss to listen and find the answers. 2. Check the answers: Answers: Peter’s mother will do the dishes, sweep the floor and clean the living room. Peter will take out the rubbish, make the bed and fold the clothes. 3.Listen again. Ask two or three groups to role-play it in front of the whole class. Step 7 Language points 1.take out 拿出,取出 “动词+副词”型短语,宾语是代词时放在动词和副词中间。 【例句】 The gift is in the box. You can take it out. 礼物在盒子里,你可以把它拿出来。 2. Could you please... 表示有礼貌地请求别人做某事或提议,其后接动词原形,比Can you... 语气更委婉、更有礼貌。类似句型还有: Would you like + sth. /to do sth. Shall we + do sth. Would you mind + sth./doing sth. What/How about + sth./doing sth. 肯定回答:Sure. /Of course. /Certainly. /OK. /Great. /Good idea. 等。 否定回答:Sorry.../No,I can’t. 等。 3. Could I... 表示有礼貌地征询许可,其后接动词原形。 肯定回答:Sure. /Of course. /Certainly. /OK. /Great. /Good idea. 等。 否定回答:Sorry.../No,you can’t. 等。 4. finish + doing sth.意为“做完某事”。 【例句】 You can borrow my book after I finish reading it. 我读完我的这本书后你可以借它。 5. ...two hours of TV is enough for you! ……两个小时的电视对你来说足够了! 表示时间、距离、金钱、重量等的词语作主语时,通常被视作整体,谓语动词用单数形式。 【例句】 Two months is a long holiday. 两个月是一个长的假期。 6. any minute now是一种常见的口语表达法,相当于“随时,马上”的意思,表示事情有可能在极短的时间内发生或眼下就要发生。minute还可以用second,moment,time等词替换。 【例句】 Don’t worry. He will come here any minute now. 别担心,他会马上来这儿。 The guests are arriving any time now but we’re still not ready. 客人即刻就到,但我们还没有准备好。 We’re expecting them any moment now. 我们期待他们随时到来。 Step 8 Summary Today we have learned some new words and phrases and the useful expression about how to ask politely. Remember them and use them often in your conversations.
