知识目标:
1. 能够复述story time的Mike一家的圣诞活动;
2. 能够理解并掌握Grammar time中First, next, then, finally表示先后顺序的副词结构的运用;
3. 能够完成Fun time中圣诞卡片的制作。
能力目标:
1. 能够运用First, next, then, finally进行语言描述,达到提高交际的目的;
2. 能渐渐养成用英语表达的逻辑性。
情感目标:
1. 对西方的圣诞节有进一步的了解,乐于参与、积极表达;
2. 明白做事需要有条理性。

Teaching procedures 教学过程
Step1 Revision
1. Learning aims
2. Greetings
T: Today is Christmas Day. Merry Christmas!
Do you get presents Come on, the Christmas presents are waiting for you.
3. Play a game
T: See the pictures, then read it quickly. The last picture is Mike.
4. Review the story
T: Do you remember Mike’s Christmas What do Mike and his family do at Christmas Group in four, talk about it first.
5. Order and say
T: Can you try to use “First, next, then, finally” to order and say Talk with your partner.

(设计意图:游戏导入,激趣课堂;回顾复习story time既是对圣诞活动的再梳理也是将复习与新授有机结合,有利于调动学生的知识储备,激活学生的思维。)
Step2 Grammar time
1. Summary
T: These four words are important. Why You can speak in Chinese.
Because they can make things clear and orderly.

T: It’s your turn. What do you do at Christmas
First, I buy a Christmas tree. Then, I put some pretty things on the tree. Then, I have a big dinner with my family. Finally, I make a Christmas card for my son.

(设计意图:在学生已有的知识基础上,引导学生通过复习感悟和理解思考,自己总结这4个副词的结构用法,并引导学生在真实的语境中习得。 )
Step3 Game time
Play a game: Jigsaw puzzle
(设计意图: 在理解语法点后,教师通过已学课文中的情境,将语法知识运用起来,在课堂上提高学生语言的使用度,不仅是对语言知识的应用,更是学会用英语去串联做事情,培养学生综合语言运用能力。)
Step4 Fun time
1. Guess and say
T: You did a good job. Here are some cards for you.
How to make a Christmas card Guess!
T: First, hold; Next, draw; Then, write your message; Finally, write your name.
2. Try to make
T makes an example. Ss make a card.
3. Send your card
T: Your card is for who Now send your card and say “ Merry Christmas”.
(设计意图:先自主猜一猜如何制作,让学生真正参与到学习活动中,接着由老师边讲解边示范,给学生自己制作提供模板,并让学生也学会边说边做。)
Step5 Homework
T: We know the Christmas Day , There are many holidays in China. Today’s homework .
(设计意图:在了解西方节日的同时也别忘了中国传统节日,结合本节课所学副词结构以及制作卡片环节,作业中以中国传统节日为背景课后再次巩固课堂所学,学以致用。)
