Unit 1 Turn left!
教学目标
On the basis of teaching content and the age of the students, I’m going to set the following aims:
1.Knowledge objects :To enable the students to make sure that they can read and remember the new vocabularies: “left、 right、go straight on、 Excuse me、 West Lake Road、 East Lake Road. ” Grasp the target languages “Turn left!,Turn right!, Go straight on!”and make the students use the languages to have conversations.
2.Ability objects : To develop students’ abilities of listening and speaking. To train the students’ abilities of conversations.
3.Emotion objects: To make students pay close attention to daily life,and make them be helpful.
教学重点
1. The pronunciation of the new vocabularies.
2. Use the target languages properly.
3. Understand the dialogue and know how to ask the way and tell the way properly.

教学过程
Ⅰ、Warm-up
Listen and do the actions.(go up, go down ,turn around, touch the sky,touch the ground)
(设计意图:热身启动,通过听做练习,活跃课堂气氛,激活学生已有的学习经验。尤其是复习turn的读音和用法,为本课的学习做准备。)
Ⅱ、Presentation
Tell the students“You’re great and helpful.Today,let’s help Sam.Sam is going to Daming’s flat,but he’s lost.What happened Let’s see.”(设计意图:创设情境,让学生明确学习内容)
Ⅲ、Text teaching
1.Look at the big screen,listen to the text then answer:Where is Daming’s flat
S:It’s in the West Lake Road.Teach the word “West Lake Road”.
2..Sam didn’t know the way,so he asked a policeman.What did he say Teach the phrase”excuse me”
3.What did the policeman say (出示课件)
(1)Teach the word “go straight on”.(采用图示法,手势法,动作法教授新词).
(2)Teach the words “left,right”.Chant:left,left,turn left.Right,right,turn right.

4.Review “Thank you.You’re welcome.” Did Sam see his friend (No)Why He’s lost.Daming’s flat is in East Lake Road.(教读,对比湖西路教学)

Ⅳ、Consolidation
Now Sam and Daming are happy.But Xihuihui is sad.Because he can’t find the way Let’s help him.
1.AB Activity 2 Listen and draw.(作为帮助小灰灰前的考验,再次巩固功能句。)
2.Game:Help Xiaohuihui.
(设计意图:设计有层次的任务活动,让学生体会语言知识的实际应用。在语言活动中找到真实的感觉,收获用英语做事情的快乐。)
