结论:and和but都是并列连词,用来连接两个单词或句子,但用法却不同。见下表:
and
用来表示并列关系,意为“……和……” “……以及……” 用来连接并列的词与词、短语与短语、分句与分句。当and连接两个名词作句子主语时,当复数看待。
but
表示转折关系, 意为 “但是,然而” 在句中连接前后两个意思相反或相对的句子
