【Lead-in】 Students watch a short video Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See and sing the song to review the color words. 【Pre-listening】 Students look at the pictures and have a quick quiz so as to review color words and objects words. 【While-listening】 Step 1. 3a. Listen and color the things and then check the answers. Step 2. 3b. 1. Listen again and complete the sentences. And then check the answers and show the language point about the definite article “the”. 2.Listen and fill in the blanks on the task list. Step 3. 3c. 1. Students listen to the audio and complete the chart. And then check the answers. 2.Listen and fill in the blanks on the task list. 3. Listen to the audio and imitate the pronunciation. 【Post-listening】 Step 1. 3d. Students need to make conversations using the tings in 3a-3c.Look at the picture and use it to show sentence patterns so as to help students better make the conversations. Give students time to practice. “Point...+ Spell... + Color” Step 2. Oral practice. Show students a picture of a bed room and let students make conversations using the things in the picture. 【Summary】 Look back the color words and object words and read them together. Look back the sentence patterns.
