状语从句(5)
【语法感悟】
1.如果你去做所有这些其他的事情而不是你的家庭作业,你会没有时间学习。
If you do all these other things instead of your homework, you won’t have time to study.
2.如果你现在告诉他真相,他会生你的气,但至少你能表明自己是诚实的。
If you tell him the truth now, he will be angry with you, but at least you will show that you are honest.
【语法解读】
一、if引导的条件状语从句的含义、位置及时态
二、if引导的条件状语从句时态遵循“主将从现”的情况
主句 从句 例句
一般将来时 一般 现在 时 I will go to the library if it doesn’t rain tomorrow.
祈使句 Let’s stay at home if it rains tomorrow.
谓语含can, may, must等情态动词的一般现在时 I may stay at home if it rains tomorrow.
谓语为hope, want, wish等动词 I want to stay at home if it rains tomorrow.
三、if引导的条件状语从句和if引导的宾语从句的区别
1.意思:if在条件状语从句中意为“如果”,在宾语从句中意为“是否”。
2.位置:if引导条件状语从句时,从句放在主句前后均可;if引导宾语从句时,从句通常放在主句之后。
【拓展】unless引导状语从句
unless意为“除非,如果不”,相当于if not,引导条件状语从句。

Ⅰ.用所给词的适当形式填空
1.If Mike studies (study) hard, he will pass the exam.
2.If I’m available(有空的) tomorrow afternoon, I will visit (visit) the city museum with my brother.
