(1)grow up为固定短语,意为“长大;成熟;成长”。其中grow意为“成长”,是不及物动词。

(2)grow还有“种植;逐渐变成”之意。作“种植”讲时,是及物动词,后可以直接跟宾语。作“逐渐变成”讲时,是系动词,后常跟形容词作表语。
