Show the PPT of they visiting the school which has the new words. And get the students to listen and try to read the new words according the old words. And learn the drills in this period.

Step 2 Revision
1. Greeting.
The teacher greets with some individuals.

T: Hello., boys. Are you exercising. (The boys are doing something.)
Boys: Yes, we are. / No, we’re not.
(Purpose: Greeting is a good method to revise the drills of this unit. Everyone can take part in this activity. Also, it can practice students communicative abilities.)
2. PPT shows the pictures of Vocabulary one by one. And the teacher asks
at the same time, “What’s he/she doing? Is he/ she … ?”
The class answer together. Then read the worlds together.
(Purpose: The dialogue between the teacher and the students can help studentsto revise the Vocabulary and the drills of this unit.)
3. Revise more verbs they have learned.
T: Do you know more verbs with –i-n-g? let’s have a look and read.
(Purpose: This period is the last period to study the Vocabulary,so it’s necessary to help students’ to summarize the rules of the verbs with –i-n-g)
Step 3 Memory game
The students watch the four pictures for about four seconds. Then the pictures disappear. Individual students should say out what the people in the pictures are doing one by one.
(Purpose: This game is good to focus students’ mind on remembering the pictures. Also it can improve the students’ memory ability. )
Step 4 Talk and read

2. Pair work. The students ask and answer about the picture into pairs.
3. Some pairs demonstrate it to the class.
(Purpose: Create a situation for students to talk and exchange their ideas.)
4. Read the passage about the picture .
1) The class read about the passage together.
2) Read and check by themselves.
The students should underline the key sentences to check the sentences right or wrong.
3) Read the sentences and tell whether it’s right by individuals.
4) Read the passage again.
(Purpose: Improve the students’ reading ability. )
5) Retell the story about the picture together; Then three students demonstrate it to the class.
(Purpose: Help students learn to describe a picture with a whole passage. That’s a good method to improve their ability to write a passage. Also, it can practice their thinking in English.)
5. Enjoy music and sing.
1)Listen to the music once.
2)sing the song with the music twice.
(Purpose: This is the music of Happy New Year. This is good to let students relax.
The words are replaced by the verbs of Vocabulary. It’s new and funny.
So, it also can improve their English expression.)
