"I don't like my parents. They always tell me I should do this, and should not do that. It
sometimes makes me angry." said Zhang Hua, a middle school student in Guangzhou. Do you have
the same problem Perhaps your parents had the same problem when they were your age long ago.
Why does it seem that some parents are not so friendly in their children's eyes
One of the biggest things is when someone becomes a parent, he or she likes worrying things. They worry about everything about you from the time you were born. They do a lot for you, though something would make you angry, because they care about you and worry about you. They worry about the friends you choose, the food you eat, your work at school, how much sleep you get, etc. All these things are part of your life. They want you to grow up healthily and happily.
So how can you make things easier on yourself It's easier than you think. Just make sure
your parents know what you're doing. Let them know your friends. Call them if you stay somewhere else. Say sorry to them when you make mistakes. Take responsibility (责任) for what you have done. Talk about your ideas with them. They may talk about theirs with you.
Most of all, try to think about why your parents do this or do that. They are still practicing being parents and need your help. Someday, when you become a parent, they may be able to help you how to get on with your children.

The time came for the tribe to move camp again. This time, they loaded everything they owned on to a large sled. Then they used the dogs to pull this sled. The dogs were tied together with ropes. The leader of the dogs was Lip-lip. He was at the front of the pack. As they pulled the sled, the other dogs only saw Lip-lip’s back. It was as if he was running away from them. They lost their fear of him and hated him as he had hated them.
After the other dogs lost respect for Lip-lip, they needed a new leader. They would have been happy to let White Fang be the leader, but he did not want to lead the pack. He was a strong, often angry, animal whose only wish was to obey Gray Beaver, his “god.”
One day the tribe camped near a village. White Fang went into the village and saw a boy cutting up meat. A piece of the meat fell to the ground. White Fang took it. The boy picked up a large stick and began to walk toward White Fang, shouting at him. White Fang backed away between two tents. Behind him was a wall of earth. He could not get away. He was trapped. Almost without thinking, he leapt at the boy, and knocked him down. Then he bit the boy’s hand that held the stick. The boy’s hand was bleeding badly.
When he bit the boy, White Fang broke the law of the gods: man must not be attacked. He knew this and now waited for a terrible punishment. But when the boy’s angry parents came to tell Gray Beaver what White Fang had done, Gray Beaver said something in support of White Fang and sent them away. And so White Fang learned that there were his gods and other gods, and there was difference between them. He did not have to be afraid of other gods.
