What---语篇主题和主要内容 写作板块要求学生根据问题提示描述自己的爱好。 Why---语篇传递的主题意义 本课时旨在锻炼学生根据写作要求准备素材、独立起草短文的能力。 How---文体结构、语言特点及功能 写作板块有两个不同的层次要求,练习A要求学生回答一些关于自己爱好的问题,练习B要求学生根据练习A的答案写一篇短文介绍自己的爱好。
学情分析
【已知】经过前三个课时的学习,学生已经对本单元话题熟悉,也掌握了一些关于爱好以及职业的表达。理解将爱好转变为职业的过程。 【未知】学生在写作中的可能存在的主要困难:正确使用一般过去时和when引导的时间状语从句来描述爱好的开始;正确使用used to/ did not used to描述过去的行为;在写作中体现结论和事实的对应关系,使文章言之有据。 【能知】在本节课中,学生将学会如何使用正确的时态描写自己的爱好。

通过本课学习,学生能够: 1. 语言能力: 正确运用when引导的时间状语从句和used to结构;使用一般现在时和一不安过去式分别表达现在和过去的行为。 2. 学习能力: 通过合作讨论准备写作素材。

设计意图 Writing中的一系列活动,逐步的向学生介绍本课时写作要求,学生能根据写作要求准备素材,并能根据自己分析总结的范文结构,正确使用时态等。

本节课作为本单元的写作课时,旨在通过循序渐进的方式让学生完成由简到繁的任务。教材在本单元的写作部分的教学目标为给介绍自己的爱好,但基于本单元的话题“从爱好到职业”,因此本节课在介绍爱好的基础上拓展到初步思考自己的职业远景,以及为实现理想所需要付出的努力。学生通过回答一系列关于爱好的问题---句子的形成---句子的提炼----篇章的形成。教师指导学生分析范文结构,提炼文章优秀的描述,让学生进一步生成写作框架和思路,在达到教材的教学目标的基础上也让较高层次的学生得到更多的拓展。教师并在每层次的训练中,渗透记叙文写作微技能,从而提升学生的写作能力。作业时课堂的延伸,请同学们请写一份职业规划书,这一计划书充分结合的本单元的话题“从爱好到职业”,可以进一步巩固课堂的教学成果,培养学生的自主学习能力。

(一)自然情况 本单元围绕“从爱好到事业”这一话题,通过阅读不同的故事,了解故事中主人公实现梦想的过程以及原因。符合Module 4 Colorful life这个话题的内容探究,以及七年级学生对知识的汲取需求。 (二)已有基础 本单元的“爱好”“事业”这些题材贴近生活,学生有一定的背景知识,所以学生读起来会比较轻松。授课对象为初一级学生,在语言知识方面,初一的学生已经掌握一些与本话题相关的词汇。此外,学生也掌握了一些基本的语言点和语言技巧,能够获取文本的主要信息。 (三)存在问题

本单元课主要是基于主题意义进行单元整体教学的设计,以学生对于主题意义的理解和学习能力的发展为主线,设计体现关联性和递进性的学习活动,旨在让学生体会本单元的话题“从爱好到事业”所要传达的情感。主阅读篇章的“从爱好到事业”的话题通过不同的形式贯穿在本单元的其他板块中。该话题的重点在于爱好和事业的关系,因此,教师从学生的生活实际和已有知识出发,创设各种尽心准备的情境,让学生理清爱好与事业的关系,也为学生提供应用英文进行活动的机会,激发对英语学科的兴趣和促进思维的发展,实现课程的新理念。本单元教学紧密地跟语篇教学和文化意识教学结合在一起,在“听、说、读、写”的活动中,教师能引导学生逐步从导读、分析到总结实现梦想所需的个人品质,鼓励学生培养积极向上的爱好,初步思考职业远景。最后的输出,让实现学生本人与文本的对话,学生运用所学的知识介绍自己的爱好,并能陈述如何才能把爱好转变为职业。
