【语法感悟】
1.爱丽丝正和她的姐姐坐在河边。
Alice was sitting with her sister by the river.

【语法解读】
一、过去进行时的三要素
二、过去进行时的四种句式
句 式 结 构
肯定句 主语+was/were+动词的现在分词+其他.
否定句 主语+was/were+not+动词的现在分词+其他.
一般疑问句 Was/Were+主语+动词的现在分词+其他 肯定答语:Yes,主语+was/were. 否定答语:No,主语+wasn’t/weren’t.
特殊疑问句 特殊疑问词+一般疑问句
三、一般过去时和过去进行时的区别
相同点 两者都表示过去发生的动作
不同点 一般过去时表示在过去的时间里所发生的动作,强调过去的事实
过去进行时表示过去正在进行或发生的动作
【拓展】
①过去时表示一个完成的动作。一般过去时表示有过这件事;过去进行时则强调了动作的连续性。
②过去进行时起描述性作用,用来描述故事发生的情景。虽然没有明显的时间状语,但根据语境可知是描写当时的某一场景。
*My mother was telling a story to me last night.
昨晚我妈妈一直给我讲故事。(可能没讲完)
*My mother told a story to me last night.
昨晚我妈妈给我讲了个故事。(已讲完)
*It was getting dark.The wind was blowing hard and the rain was falling heavily.
天色越来越暗。风刮得很厉害,雨下得很大。
