Yesterday, I had a tour to the Great Wall with my parents. It’s really fantastic. Let me tell you something about my tour.
There were many tourists visiting it yesterday. The Great Wall is more than 6,000 kilometers long and 5 meters wide. In ancient times, it was quite difficult to build such a great wall. Without modern machines, the workers did all the jobs with their hands and wisdom(智慧). The Great Wall is famous all over the world. How great the Chinese people are! Do you know the old Chinese saying “ He who does not reach the Great Wall is not a true man”

There are more and more endangered animals now. We must try to protect them. It’s wrong for people to kill wild animals for their meat and fur(皮毛), for they are our good friends. We should protect them instead of killing them. Pandas are one of the animals in danger. They live in the forests and live on bamboo leaves. But there are fewer and fewer pandas in the world now because humans cut down forests so that pandas have fewer places to live in.
In a word, we must do something to stop killing animals. Helping animals is helping ourselves. Let’s try our best to protect them.
